Actually, I respect bigdaddy's more accurate take on the game. 

You put pressure on Henne and force MIA mistakes that turn into Jets points, then MIA could make more mistakes trying to play catch-up.  In a game that is expected to be low scoring, it only takes one mistake...

If Miami loses, their season is over. They DO have the toughest schedule.
 
This is a must win for Miami, and I will be cheering for their SU Win. No money though!

Since when did "sanchez is pissed" become such a big threat? Last I checked, he has a QB rating of 71.2...

That being said, HUGE divisional game on national TV. Thus, the strength of both teams will be on display here. This is how I see it:

The Jets just traded #2 WR Chansi Stuckey for Braylon Edwards, who has absolutely no experience or chemistry with the rookie QB. #1 WR Jericho Cotchery is doubtful. Jets will try to run the ball, but they are going against the #3 rushing defense in the league. If you think that's a fluke, you haven't watched Dolphin games. This defense shuts the run down.

On the other side, you have the Dolphins starting a QB in his 3rd game. He's still not very efficient and has shown that his #1 priority is to protect the ball (as evidenced by his 6 sacks last wk against Buffalo). Miami will run run run against the Jets. It looks like the will take very few chances down the field. With Calvin Pace coming back, Miami will struggle to move the ball as well.

If you've noticed, its the defensive players talking all the smack this past week. Both defensive units will be so fired up. I see going WAY under. If I had to pick a side, I'd pick Miami based on the home factor and the Jets just played a huge game in New Orleans.

But my play here is:

There should be some turnovers with the two young QB's against aggressive defenses. These will turn into points. Over is my play.

JETS -3.5     big play.
Defense  wins games and the JETS D is better than Miami's D.  Jets offense better than Miami's O.  Jets 31- Miami 10.
             Also taking Jets/ over   par.   $$$$$$$$

I see this game as a close one....but i might roll with the Jets and Over!!!!!!! Jets-D is wayyyyyy better than the Fins-D....If Jets can stop the running game i see this game as a low game possibly

Fins will cover this the line will get to +3 maybe +3.5 if their lucky.  Fins are awful away... but at home they always hang with every team.  Vegas is in love with this game because everyone is going Jets,  Ill take the HOME DOG on MONDAY NIGHT... who too has a D that can make things happen.   

The over will prolly hit to only because of TO's.

jets are way better than the fins....look at their recent games they so far play alll of the best in the league beside giants and broncos...Fins will lose this one definitely

Division game, Monday night, in Miami... going to be a lot closer than you think.  Monday night underdawgs HATE being under dogs especially at HOME.  Im saying they hang in there... like they did against the COLTS... AWAY The FINS are no better than KC.... at home they fight

It's tough to go against a home dog on Monday night but I'm going to have to join the public and back the Jets. Dolphins are ranked 29th in the league in yards per play allowed on D. Combine that with Henne getting his first look at Ryan's blitz schemes and I'm laying the points.

Medium play on the Jets.

yea but everyone was on the colts, giants, steelers and minny and they all covered, id go with miami too but i wouldnt follow that logic

 being a fan I just gotta speak the truth and don't go all homer on my Fins....Need to watch out though if you take the Jets. Cameron Wake had his first taste of play last week against Buffalo and put up 3 sacks. From what I read they are thinking about putting Porter, Taylor, and Wake in at the same time to really put pressure on the young Sanchez..

This game became even bigger with the Pats loss to the Broncos...If  the Jets win they will be on top the AFC East and a game ahead of the Pats and a loss will put them tied for first in the division....Even a bigger game for the Dolphins as a win will put them only 1 game behind first place in the division which would make their 3 losses not as season ending as it seemed.

As usual I rarely wager on my Dolphins games and won't do it on MNF but good luck to all of you...including the J-E-T-S Fans ....should be one heck of a game.
