eagles easy . mets cant beat the marlins in the last game ever at shea. go get another closer that will fix everything.

How's Boludojones,I agree with you about all the crap and insults traded between city or team rivals.
I'm Irish,a Gaelic Football,Hurling & Rugby fan,but I love the NFL too.I give my honest opinion,call it as I see it and enjoy reading logical,rational or interesting opinions from other sports fans,all the more so if they are different to my own!
I go for Giants here.Maybe I'm talking through my pocket cos Eagles have let me down a few times this season but I just don't trust their offense.I trust Spagnuolo though,and see him keeping Westbrook quiet.Giants ran for over 200 yards in Philly,and in second encounter Ward & Jacobs averaged around 5 yards per carry.They should be able to run the ball well at the wknd,and maybe Eli will go downtown a few times!Can see Eagles struggling to score,so I take Giants to cover with ease.Jacobs is due to play and will be huge for NY.
I enjoyed your thread Boludojones,and you made some solid pts.Could be another tight game,but I don't see it for this one.I wouldn't trust those injury reports either by the way.Have fallen into that trap in the past too,and got beat by guys who were not supposed to play!Caveat,Jacobs plays and plays huge!

Go look at the Giant's postseason / Superbowl boxscores from last year - look at how many tackles Dockery, Johnson, Cofield, Ross, and Madison had on defense, or the running game of Jacobs & Bradshaw, or the sacks / tackles of Umenyiora (and Strahan, who's not there this year), or Tyree with that crazy catch setting up Burress for the touchdown with :35 seconds left? You think Hixon can fill those shoes? Or Ward running all game?
I'm just saying there's a lot of veteran playoff experience missing from the Giants this year - and if you don't think that accounts for anything, then how did underdog veteran Kurt Warner do against a rookie QB last week?

Now that makes a lot more sense.  I still am going with the gmen due to reasons in my original post.  One of is right ...we just wish we knew if it is you or me before the game starts so we could make some huge cash.  Since I am staying with my pick and you with yours, we will see after the game.  The bad thing for me is I agreed to play in a golf tournament about 4 months ago this coming weekend without thinking about the playoffs, so I am going to miss seeing what should be a great game between the tired, road weary, end of the road Eagles and the rested, motivated, playing at home, Super Bowl Champions Gmen.  HA, HA.. best of luck to you.

Lets not forget chunky beef stew mcnabb loves to choke in big games.....playoffs.  Also look at who you clowns lost too this year or even worse TIED.  PLEASE....You wanksta got lucky to get into the playoffs and wow, you luckily beat a struggling MINN..

Balt had 13 players listed as questionable or day to day last week (key players). Did you notice? Jacobs will be in prime form and I believe you will see a lot of these guys play with no noticable decline.

This is probably the game I'm looking forward to the most this weekend!  I think the Eagles cover and str8 up win.  The Eagles are one of the best teams in football when clicking IMO.  They have a balanced defense and offense.  I think the momentum they have will carry over for them and the Giants might just be too rested.  I find a first round bye can be a teams worst nightmare sometimes!  20-17 Eagles i'm guessing

Philly plus the points, and this may be a very low scoring game.  These teams know each other very well.  I don't think it'll be like their first meeting but more like their last meeting.

More defense to watch.  All these teams left have good defensives.
Couflin and Reed, McNabb and Eli.  Giants D and Phillys oportunistic D.  Westbrook, Jacobs and Ward  The difference here may be the recievers and TE.  The rookie from Cal is fast, I dont see much quickness on Giants, just smashmouth football and ball control.
Points here is good as NFC games end up 20-17/23-20
NFC EAST Defense shows up in the playoffs.
Leaning with points and under here.
