In the book The Art of War, by Sun Tzu, there is a quote that implies "If you give your army no means to retreat, they will fight better, even unto death." This is the case for the 49ers now. At 0-2 they will be fighting for their hope of a 2010 season playoff spot. I feel that with a bye week coming up for the Chiefs and a 2-0 record in thier pocket, we might no get the best from them compared to the Niners. I do not see a line for this game at my online books yet but Covers is showing SF-1 so I'll go with that.

Got to give it up to the 49er's for playing a hell of a game against the defending SUPERBOWL CHAMPS. Everyone thought that this would have been a minimum 14 point game as the past games has shown on record but they beat all the specdulations by stepping up to the plate and that Gore (RB) reminds me of Brandon Jacobs in his prime.

On the other hand, KC has shown that they are a force to be reckonded with, especially @ home and that is the deciding factor for me to go with KC straight up win. Sisco is not the best of the Road Warriors and that showd bigtime in Seattle.

This might be a good spot for the Niners to break into the win column.  Although their ATS road record as a fav is pretty bad. 

0 - 3 ATS last 3 at Arrowhead for the Niners.

After seeing the 49ers nearly beat the defending champs, most (78 percent) are behind San Francisco to hand the Chiefs their first loss. Sharp money is on the over, mostly at 36.5. The over is also seeing an astounding 86 percent of the total action.

Vernon Davis guaranteed a win Sunday     When are these idiots gonna learn ?  Was just about to pull the trigger on SF -3 when I read this.

Lifetime Chiefs fan here, let me tell you a little bit about the Chiefs 2-0 start.

MNF vs. AFC West opponent Chargers

Keep in mind that this game was played in very wet and windy conditions A.K.A. "the great equalizer."

Chiefs TD plays are 50 yd run by Charles, 94 yard punt return by McCluster, and a 2 yard throw to our new TE Moeaki (which was set up by a strip fumble returned to the Charger 13ish.

Week 2 vs. the Brown Stains: Chiefs TD scoring plays, 33 yard pick six, and a bunch of FG's. Against the Browns.

Basically, my point here is that the Chiefs have no offense, or have not shown the ability to throw the ball. Matt White Cassel is not very good in my opinion.

I am debating on pulling the trigger on the Niners here, because who wants to bet against their team? However, I can't see the Chiefs scoring a whole bunch of points offensively. If I were going to bet this game, I would maybe take Niners and the Under as insurance, because if the Chiefs do cover, I think it will be very low scoring.

Because when I go to page one, the entire right side of the page is cut off. someone blew up the page with spacing or whatever. Can you see all of page one? I did it so new post would be completely legible to me. What do you see on page one on your end? I don't think it's just on my end.

best post i've read and in fact, you have now changed my mind permanently ( along with all the kc backers ) to go ahead and try to cover with SF one more time for they have cost me the first 2 games and last monday nite was a true heartbreaker.  in fact, i had them parlayed with the under last weekend and truly felt robbed especially as i got teased in the very end with the 2-pt conversion being denied but then being reviewed and overturned.  worst way to lose a bet on an under especially when SF decided to give away 2 pts off a high snap on the very 1st snap of the game.  what a joke that was.  yeah- i must agree that SF has the better team altogether so this should be a spot for them to cover.  i just hope they dont do anything stupid on special teams.  is ted ginn still out?
