Minnesota hasn't impressed anybody with anything so far this season and the 49ers have been all over everyone's SH** - - -and 80% of the betting public is all over the 49ers - so you know what that means sports fans:

They could start this game @ 9 a.m. eastern and I would still take NINERS. NOBODY RUNS ON THIS D PERIOD. What Percy Harvin or Aromashodu going to beat this d? With Ponder chucking it? SF is the best coached in NFL and they never turn the ball over.  Just think they get up 14pts..game over. NO BACKDOOR OPEN ALA THE CRIMSON TIDE

I agree with baby gus, this is one of them gifts and not I am wasting it.  Ponder will cough up the ball several times I think, he wont have time to look downfield. Adrian wont be able to run well against Frisco. Minny meanwhile allowed poor teams to score all over them. 33- 17 San Francisco.

I don't like to go against Quad (and probably shouldn't ) but Vikings barely beat Jacksonville and they gave up 3 fumbles.  And Jags got like worse defense and offense.  Niners beat the Lions who is better than Vikings on both D and O.  Maybe 7.5 is a little bit too much (because Niners will give points at last minute) but to ML Viking is too much risk for me.  I'm looking for Alex Smith to prove that he's better than P Manning's current stats.  Like last week's game, I'll buy Niners to -6.5 and play medium

I also regard Leslie Frazier as the worst coach in the nfl. I remember watching him gag a 20 pt lead to lions last year at home. He would have 4th and inches and run Toby Gehart ..who would get stuffed while have a healthy AP  on the sidelines! As mellow stated Rodgers had a whole off season to get ready and still couldnt get the win

TRAP!  GB and Lions lost to SF by 8 points! The line has to be 10 points at the very least. This is Vikings game.

Hard to imagine Niners winning in GreenBay, then kicking a game in Minny.   But I'd hate to lay a TD on the road.    I might tease the Niners with the Broncos

Ahhh...where to start with this one.  When i saw this line come out at SF -7-120, i figured it would shoot to 7.5 or 8 relatively early in the week...instead, it is now SF -6.5 in some places.  Folks, im not saying SF won't cover, but this has trap written all over it.  I may tease up vikes, but other than that, i probably wont play this game.  Everything points to taking the niners...coming off a huge win in green bay, then beating a solid lions team.  A possible lull is looming, going on the road, against a team they are "expected" to hammer...the square public $$ will be on the niners....and let me tell ya, sportsbooks don't stay open because of the public's opinion!  I bet five games last week, all against the public, went 4-1.  Tampa, arizona, st louis, seattle and detroit.  The only reason i bet, was the general public forced my hand...glad they did, lol!!!!!  So again, if you say SF is a "lock" this week, you may want to think outside the box and tell yourself stranger things have happened!  Just ask the patriots last week!!!  Good luck to all.

ohhh...to the post that said niners -7, "easy money"....there's never easy money in the NFL..especially with road favorites!!!  something fishy about this game...im sort of thinking the same with the lions @ titans game.  Approach with caution!!

Agreed Babygus and Cyrus make excellent points the Vikings coach needs to grow a pair before ever hoping to topple a team like San Fran.

Seems too easy. . .all that Niner money coming in and the line holds steady.  Trap or psyche job by Vegas?  Considering the Jets are on deck, Niners won't be looking ahead.  However, the Vikes will be amped just like last time these two met in the dome.  Being an SF native and listening to Niner talk shows daily, they are not taling trash on lowly Vikes.  Disciplined Niners win but not so sure they cover. . .no play
