San Fran is playing well I suppose.  Two pretty good offensive minds at work in this game.  I'll take the points w/San Fran.

Gore should be able to keep runnin against the saints. And JT is gainin more confidence in the long passing game. Back and forth scoring i bet...i like the niners and even the over

No Shockey, No Colston for the Saints.....49ers (+6) is the play fellas. I was at the 49ers game this past weekend vs. the Lions, and I must say that the Niners are gelling.
 
You got to think about it, JTO (49ers QB) didn't have reps with the first string as much as he should have because that whole QB fiasco with Alex (who???) Smith. Now, that he's got 3 games under his belt, the recievers are healthy again, a win in New Orleans is not impossible. All the 49ers need now is for Vernon "Click-Clack" Davis to stop having aligator hands and extend his arms to catch the ball. Some dude @ the game actually yelled out "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane." Hillarious....

No reason it won't be another 31 - 10 loss for the Niners. C'mon people - you're heaping way too much praise on the truly untested arm of O'Sullivan. Wins against the Lions @ home & a squeaker against the Seahawks??? Big deal. At least the Saints have a halfway decent defense. And Reggie Bush will get probably 200 + all purpose yards. Also who cares if Shockey's out - he's more of a distraction for his own team anyways - How'd the Giants do at the end of the season last year without him, huh??

Hey B'Jones ....If Reggie B gets his 200 all purpose yards, who's going to get the other 200 yards......They run/pass with him EVERY play........Teams are going to key on him all day......line is droping like a rock .....just saw Aints -4 1/2.......Glad I got it at 9ers +6

since when have the LIONS become a measuring stick?

 

although i could see gore running on them and bruce and johnson having a pretty good game i just don't think they can keep up with the SAINTS. when brees is on point hes up there with anyone.

Whether you care to admit it to yourself or not, the fact is that the Niners have continued to be a good football team thur these past few seasons.

In this time, their Achilles’ heel has been Alex Smith.  With Smith on the sideline, they finally have a competent offensive leader.  One whom's confidence is growing with each game.

O'Sullivan had been around but these are the first games he's started in his carreer.  Belittle them all you like, anyone with half a brain, will recognize what an acomplishment this truly is.

Bruce has proved to be another big puzzle piece to the Niners offense.  Though they had some talented receivers since the '05 season, they have never been able to find somebody to replace the ledgendary Jerry Rice <<< one serious asshole BTW.   In Issac Bruce they finally have found their heir to Rice's throne.

San Francisco may shock a few folks that have posted on this board, but I will not be shocked in the least.  I'll be on the ML and take the points (+5.5).  Ciao!

  Very true.  Bush is a butterfingers, and those Niners LBs hit HARD.

Bush really hasn't become the 'pro' which many (myself included) had picked him to be.  Oh well, he's still sittin' on a mountain of cash so 'horray for him'.

Ive been a SF fan for a Long time and I notice once they get hype they always blow it. Look for a Mad Saints team that Blew it last week at Denver. Im sure if Saints got a W last week all these SF fans would think a lil Harder.. Look for JT to struggle in his 2nd Start on the road...I understand that SF D is good. But thats a D that hasnt been tested. Look for a SF to give up the balll on the road at least 2x, Gores always good for a Fumble and JT will be good for 1 Int. Why Trust a 1st time starting QB on his 2nd Road Game? This looks like a Trap Game...and Its Intresting to see  Road Underdog spreads drop...Example NYJ at SD Spread from +9 to 7.5. Vegas knows how to set up these games and this will be a Game that shows where the Public Heads at...GL to ALL

Some here dont see how big of a deal having colston and shockey out is.  Bush will be even more of a focal point sunday, making the SF defense's job easier. 

The 9ers offense looks different this year because it is.  Martz has instilled confidence in JTO and the entire team.  Martz has a guy good enough to take advantage of the fact that defenses focus on stopping gore first. 

The game is on turf which is an advantage to the both the 9er's defense and offense.  Willis will eat up those pursuit angles with ease and of course the Martz style offense benefits.

9ers win SU and break into that upper-middle of the pack.  31-24
