Some here dont see how big of a deal having colston and shockey out is. Bush will be even more of a focal point sunday, making the SF defense's job easier.
The 9ers offense looks different this year because it is. Martz has instilled confidence in JTO and the entire team. Martz has a guy good enough to take advantage of the fact that defenses focus on stopping gore first.
The game is on turf which is an advantage to the both the 9er's defense and offense. Willis will eat up those pursuit angles with ease and of course the Martz style offense benefits.
9ers win SU and break into that upper-middle of the pack. 31-24
Allright people - this is the last post I'm putting in this forum. I'd take the arm of Brees throwing to Henderson & Patten on the 49ers "Defense" over "O'Nobody" throwing to the ancient Isaac Bruce and No One!!!! And Frank Gore vs. Reggie Bush? You look at who each RB is gonna be running on this Sunday, and then put down your answer. Plus the Saints are at home?!!? Gimme A Break!!! - I still say 31 - 10 Saints (or they'll at least cover), and no, I'm not a Saints or 49ers fan - I just calls 'em like I sees 'em. Thank you

I don't know what people expected from BUSH honestly. You expected a Marion Barber coming out of minnesota? Bush is frail, he's gonna get you his 12 carries for 40yds, but he'll get his 7catches for 68 also. He's not gonna rack up 150rushyds on 29attemps too many times. This is what I expected, AN EXPLOSIVE speedy back. and that's what he is.

We'll see. 9ers D has been pretty solid so far this year against AZ seatle and detroit...all teams that air it out. Saints D is allowing an average of almost 400 yards per game.
9ers +5 and the ML

Remember football is a team sport. Just cause the 9ers skill players arent at the top of their position doesnt mean the TEAM isnt playing well. The offense is clicking. Niners are coming in to this game confident.

I like to bet on team points and I think that the 49ers are a great bet. The line doesnt come out till sunday morning but i see it being anywhere from 18-22 point spread .
What do you think about this

I just actually registered, but have been viewing the forum for awhile....First Post!
49's ML San Fransisco's LB's are took quick for those Bush screens. Gore will manage the clock well for the Niners, along with O'Sullivan-Bruce clicking in the red zone. Brees is good, but against a Bronco's defense that has no secondary. QB with no weapons isn't much of a quarterback, plus the Saints defense is pathetic, both run and pass.
Bengals -3 Their defense actually showed up last week against the Giants, and their offense looked like the old-school offense, despite the #'s. (but still expect this game to be a shootout). They blew a chance to beat the defending Super Bowl champs, even though NY's better away than home. I'm seeing the Bengals really showing their true colors in this one and Anderson's hype to be smashed in the end.
Bears/Eagles under Eagles great rush defense, and Orton can't throw for squat. Westbrook (healthy) would run all over a Bears defense in week 1, but not after that humiliating OT loss vs. Tampa Bay
Chicago ML They're hungry for a win, Mcnabb and Westbrook not 100%...enough said

new orleans is probably pissed about blowing 2 games they should have won and will take it out on san fran this week. 49ers are improved but seriously who wins a shootout between brees and jt o sullivan? jt o sullivan, thats funny. another easy game this week as new orleans covers with no problem.

Reggie Bush is coming around this season hell if I had Kim Kardashian next to me when I wake up in the morning I'll be light on my feet as well by having all of my bodily fluids drained the night before
Anyway some things I think about this game..
If the 49ers can contain Bush and force Brees to throw they might be in good shape due to some key players on offense is out for this game Brees will be limited on his choices.
For the Saints if they can keep JT out of rhythm by pressuring him the 49ers will have to turn to Gore and make the 49ers 1 dimensional, but of course if the Saints cannot stop Gore than it will be a long day for the Saints.
After one of the weirdest day in college football I want to see if the pros can bring it back to reality...
Saints at the half -3
Aloha and good luck to all

When was the last time you have seen the saints stop the run? or the pass? weak front and secondary, rely on putting points on the board, which isn't gonna happen vs. the saints. Good luck on the half, but I'm going the other way for sure

Golly, if you couldn't catch on to the fact that Alex Smith was weighing that whole team down, then that's a shame. I watched the Niners lose time and again over the past three seasons. and made a tighty profit while doing so.
Having a good QB is essential, and Brees is a good one. But given your past record w/ Niners games I have to thank my lucky stars, that you're taking the Saints today. Enjoy the show, friend.
