SF has not beaten a "good team" this year. All of there wins were against bad teams. Last time they played Seattle this year, Seattle wasted them 29-3. SF lost to the Colts, Saints, Panthers, and Seattle. Seattle Crushed the Saints and have 2 key players back. SF giving up points to Seattle?? Pfff....free money for anyone picking Seattle. I snatched up Seattle at + 3 and over 41. It is going to be a MERRY CHRISTMAS this year!!

This will be one SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL GAME and as good as Seattle looked Monday night and i still think are the best team in the NFC right now this will probably be a field goal game and no bodies standing in the end. Nod to The Hawks 20-17.

The number one team in the entire NFL is given points?? So, what we are being told is that is Seattle wins it is an upset?? How can you upset the number 1 team? Don't overthink this guys.....take the better team with the points! This bet is CLEAR AS DAY. San Fran has not beaten a top 10 team yet this entire year. Forget the points even...Seattle is 11-1 SU. So giving points to a team that never loses straight up is crazy. Seattle = FREE MONEY. Christmas comes early.

This is a different Seattle team. Everybody says they can't win on the road? Are you serious? They have a better road record this year (5-1) than SF has at home (4-2)!! Seahawks last road game they won 33-10 in Atlanta without barely breaking a set. They are coming off an absolute soul-crushing destruction of the Saints and will be riding this confidence into the Stick. They are on another level right now.. Trust me they will get up for this game and they won't stop. Pete would love to drop another 30 bomb on Harbaugh. SF fans will be sitting on their hands after the first quarter.

Seattle is not just ranked #1 at home. They are ranked #1 OVERALL. People are throwing their money away with a San Fran bet. Name a single "good team" that SF has beaten this year....NOT ONE. And this bet game is going OVER. 41 points?? Seattle will get that by themselves. Saints Defense > SF Defense. Russell Wilson is at full force and Seattle is the healthiest they have been all year. I couldn't believe last week that the Chargers were favored over the Bengals...and I took advantage of it and got big money. Giving a better team the points does not happen often, take advantage of it while you can.

Seattle wins this 41-24. I was 16-0 last week SU

Anyone wondering why the Seahawks are dogs? It's because they should be. This is a TRAP game for Seattle. Why?
1. Divisional same-season revenge game for SF.
2. Short week off HUGE MNF win for the Seahawks. Hard to believe it will be a letdown spot for the Seahawks, but it is.
3. Bottom line - Seattle on the road is a different team. Sure they are 4-1 but...wins against Arizona, St. Louis, Houston, Atlanta. (combined record 17-31).
4. Seattle has locked up a playoff berth. San Francisco is competing with at least 3-5 teams (NO, CAR, ARZ, DAL and PHI) for a wild card. Trust me when I say emotion and determination will be on the 49ers side this weekend.
All that being said...I still don't like SF -2.5 because Seattle is indeed the better team. This could very well be a one-point game either way, but it is an absolute must-win for SF and Harbaugh will find a way to get it done.
Small play on 49ers ML. Final score 19-17 San Francisco.

I haven't head one good argument as to why the 49ers win this game Sunday -- other than it's revenge, a must win or they are playing at home. Seriously is that going to get it done? The Seahawks just destroyed the Saints without breaking a sweat. A team the niners lost against three weeks ago. I hear seahawks aren't the same team away but they are 5-1 on the road, a better record than the niners have at home 4-2.

More than willing to give up less than a field goal to Seattle! And Seahawks have always had trouble with San Francisco AT San Fran! Note: Seattle blowout of the 49's AT SEATTLE this year was on 5 key turnovers!
Seattle lost two key DB...and San Francisco now brings Manningham and Crabtree into the mix!
Favorite is 5-1 vs. Vegas line last 6 meetings!
Home team is 7-2 vs. spread last 9 meeting!
Seattle now 0-4 vs. San Francisco at San Francisco last 4 years!
San Francisco - 2.5 Over Seattle! Five Unit Powerplay!

Yes, pay close attention and get your facts right. Seattle is not 4-1 on the road this season, but 5-1, with the other win coming at Carolina, which when added to your opposing records makes it a more respectable 26-34, or 26-29 in games not involving the Seattle Seahawks.
But it's not just who they played but when they played them. Is there any doubt that Houston was a better team at the start of the season when they went 2-0 and still had Cushing?
The bottom line is that SF has gotten a legacy line here, more out of what they've gone the last two seasons than what they have this year. Getting Crabtree back helps a lot, and they looked good last week against the Rams, but they had Crabtree last December when the hawks beat them 41-13 in a game that wasn't that close. Granted, it was at home.
Here's the question bettors have to ask themselves. Is Seattle 4+ points better than the 7 point loss they took in the early portion of last season at SF?

You're right I missed the Panthers game...but let's look at this a bit closer, say within a few week's timeframe of each matchup:
Game 1 - Win @ Carolina 12-7. Panthers started the season 1-3 before getting hot.
Game 4 - Win @ Houston 23-20 in OT. Texans were 2-1 at the time, close wins versus SD and TEN, a loss at BAL and haven't won since.
Game 5 - Loss @ Indianapolis 34-28. No shame there.
Game 7 - Win @ Arizona 34-22. Cardinals were 3-3 coming into the game.
Game 8 - Win @ St. Louis 14-9. Rams were 3-4 at the time and starting backup QB Clemens after losing Bradford for the season in the previous week.
Game 10 - Win @ Atlanta 33-10. Falcons were 2-6 coming in and continued losing until last week's upset at BUF.
Wins are wins I agree. But looking at the above road record and the circumstances involved with each game, it's understandable to see why SF is slightly favored. The 49ers are 8-4, a formidable division foe at home with revenge, in the middle of a playoff race.
GL regardless.

Blah, blah, blah. Half-understood stats are garbage. You can cherry pick them to say whatever you please. You need to watch the games more closely and not pay attention to that stuff. For instance, Arizona was 3-3 coming into the game, yes, but this was right after they played a good Niner team tough and even led in the 4th quarter at the Stick and then they would go on (after the Hawks loss) to have a 4 game winning streak after the hawks beat them solidly at home.
Now, if you're going to discount wins in Houston and Atlanta because of what happened after the game, never mind that Houston lost Cushing and Shaub soon after and Atlanta got back Roddy White for the Hawks game and nearly beat New Orleans a couple of weeks later, okay.
You're clearly cherry picking your stats.
But hey, if you want to play that game, it's your cash. People like me make money off of people like you. Not that SF couldn't cover this spread. I see it as a 4 point Hawks win, but that means it's a one turnover push/loss.
Good luck also, but you'd be better off with some good sense.
