Yeah....Really like this call....TB will score minimum 17 vs Atl's porous D...Matt Ryan WILL NOT throw 3 picks this time. He'll be extra sharp on that...Focus from both sides will be on Offense..

Score of 30-17 Atl is not out of the question and puts your total at 47....I say 30 pts. because physical conditioning is still a relevant concern at this time of the year...TB will NOT want their D to be out there all night...(Atl ball possession vs a team like NO was 31:18)....

Yeah...I like the OVER for sure...Will need to think more on the spread though...GL everyone

In a series dominated lately by home favorites, the Falcons (1-1 SU, 1-1 ATS) look to continue the trend Thursday in an NFC South clash against the lowly Buccaneers (0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS) at the Georgia Dome. The favorite is 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings, and the home team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six encounters. Each team won and covered at home last season.

Atlanta is just a different team at home, compiling records of 30-13 SU and 23-18 ATS under coach Mike Smith.  The Falcons have dominated Tampa in the Georgia Dome, and now get a banged-up Bucs team on a short week.  I'd lay the points here and also look to use Atlanta is some teasers.

Perform a thorough analysis for this meeting and your selection is OVER. 
Most people prefers the under but do not realize that the initial line opened high 45 and the current line is at 46, that means that the trend is up. The numbers do not lie and the game is projected downward below 42 points but here in 46 say to me playing the OVER. 
Prediction: 28-20 ATLANTA.

Watching from sidelines for the 1st half.
Based on what i see will be looking at 
2 nd half over at 23.5 or less. 
could see a 10 - 7 game at half

Atl - 6....in fact...ill even give you 10 it you like... Atl wins by double digits.. TB looked awful in first 2 games...short week...on the road, banged up D, in the loud dome with ATL fired up...team has no leadership or heart.. Josh Mc. has no shot of keeping up..  Men vs. Boys in this one..

Lay em all day.... gimme the loot...

This game has blow out written all over it..ATL covers todo dia. Tampa offense is inept. Plus Atl defense can only be better being dead last.

I like ATL -6 for a unit but I'm using ATL ML and ATL +3.5 on a couple p.o.w teasers for much more. TB may keep it close and could possibly cover but no way they are going on the road into that dome,albeit vs a division rival and leaving town with the W.


TB faced f-all for passing attacks at home and lost both of the last two games. Now they go into a crazy tough place to play and have to face a stud receiver on either side of the field (as long as Rowdy Roddy White isn't too hobbled) and an emerging t.e. Plus a decent running game. TB will not be able to score enough to hang with the Dirty Birds a.k.a the Filthy Falcons.

Very interesting thinking displayed in this thread so far.

Atlanta with too much offense? 300 total yards, 10 points, and no explosive plays in week 2.  

McCown can't get it  done?  This is one of the league's absolute worst pass defenses, anyone can throw against the Falcons. 

Tampa will be outmatched?  Verner, Barron, and Goldson are better  than any secondary the Falcons have seen in the first two weeks.

Too many injuries for Tampa?  Martin is dealing with the annual problem where the Tampa front office decides to piss of their best player.  Martin is clearly upset with the even split of carries, so there's not much of a void if he misses tonight. So McCoy is the difference between covering and not? 

Were nearing 80% of the public backing the falcons and the over.  Will tonight be the first night ever that Vegas decides to give out free money to the betting public?

Tampa Bay goes from facing two of the most physical defensive teams in football (rams, panthers) to easily one of the softest in the Falcons. Does anyone remember how those Falcons made Geno Smith look on monday night last year? I think Mccown is capable of something quite similar especially because they will have the run game going with Rainey. Liked Tampa with Mccoy but with him out I have to say I think over is the best play in the game. Wouldn't be surprised to see TB outright though, Atlanta has banged up/weak offensive live and a terrible defense they shouldn't be laying 6.5 to a division rival.
