You have EXCELLENT points. I do respect ur opinion. I'm sorry, I meant dogs covering 60% ATS. not outright. u are rite, the fav may win the majority of time SU. I don't know the stats on SU but that sounds rite.

Like the Skins alot in this spot. It's true that the Lions are 5-1 ATS this year. However most of those wins came as dogs in a SU loss. The Lions did deliver as a home fav. over the Rams.The Skins are 4-2 ATS with a 4-1-1 record as a dog. Washington is also 2-0 (6-1-1 over L 2 years) as a road dog. The Skins also have a big advantage at the QB position. Stafford is talented but young and coming off a 5-6 week layoff. I expect a little rust and it should take a game to get the timing back with his recievers,practice is not game speed. I would feel better about Detroit if Hill was starting.The Redskins are playing with revenge from last season and heading into a bye week. Shanahan will have his team focused and the Skins will not overlook the Lions. Skins +2.5 GLTA!

Hard to bet the Lions as a favorite here, IMO. They may win this game but covering, I'm not bettng on that !!

I like it too, Calvin will own him, dont be misguided by last week. Hall played well against a terrible, if not the worst WR unit in the NFL. He is a massively overated CB and between CJ and J Best, Det will win this game.

Let....me ....let me get this straight. U are putting ALOT of faith in a 1-5 Detroit team and proclaiming almost a blowout against a team that is TIED for 5th in their conference for the BEST record. OKIE DOKIE. I hope u do come back on here after the game and admit what a sucker u are. If I lose I will person myself...deal? as a dallas fan I naturally hate the Skins, but it's Mcnabb. against a really bad Detroit team. mind u I did mention that Wash is an IFFY team. but we'll see. Wash as a nasty knack of hanging in games this year. I'm a lil confused on the confidence u are exhibiting in the lowly lions as a favorite. Damn the stat that the dog wins approx 60% of the time in NFL games. sorry, I'm just caught up in NFL logic.

Detroit -3(+110)

The Skins are one of the best teams in the NFC(?)... they did beat Dallas but who are the 1-5 Cowturds? The NFC is very weak in whole as a conference so pretenders pop up and down each weekend. They beat the Eagles with Vick getting injured in that game and also beat GB in a sloppy game at home. The NFC is so weak that the TB HC said his team is the best in the NFC. Gimmie a break... Wash or TB or anyone else that is not the NYGiants who are the only team in the NFC that are going anywhere.

Detroit is 5-1 ATS and as only a small -1 fav here I expect the SU winner.

The Skins are 0-3 in their L-3 dome games with losses to Detroit, Atlanta and the Rams in week two. They were favorites vs the Rams and Lions in those games.

As a Lions backer here, I'll just watch and enjoy as McNabb and company give away the game to the Lions.

This is a sucker game and the suckers are taking the Skins. The Lions will win by at least 7 points and I'll be back here after the game.

I'm BACK in Black and have nothing left to say regarding this game.
