Lanto Griffin +100 over Rickie Fowler

Lanto Griffin played well in Hawaii. Fowler missed a cut in December in his last outing. His form prior to that was hit and miss.  He could come out blazing but I like the value as well.  I’m sure there are plenty out there who auto-bet Fowler in this situation.

I also placed a first round 3 ball: Cantlay +100 over Rickie and Phil. Saw it on the sheet and couldn’t help myself.

Last week I was 1-1. 

Niemann continued to play well and beat Hideki. However, Hideki played better than I thought and Im did not show up.

Sort of agree on Griffin, or should I say anti-Fowler.

I've been betting against Fowler and winning every week.

I miss Ricky!

Now that he is back it seems the books are finally catching on that he is OVERRATED!

His matchups were previously with A list players like Cantlay and others but now he has moved to the B group and the matchups are against Ancer and Griffin who are still good players but not A list.

I really want to bet against Fowler but Griffin 1x here 2018 he MC, but of course he is a different/better player now than 2 years ago.

I'd prefer to bet Ancer but no way I lay -150.

 Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you, particularly about how they are both different players now. That’s what I’m betting on. Fowler has the name but Lanto is off to a sneaky good start with his showing at Kapalua. It’s as much a fade of Fowler and this is the best matchup/price/value I could find against him. 

Nice 3 ball win Rd1 which makes up for Griffin.

fowler woke up from his long absence rd2 so Griffin disappoints.  Guess we will see what Fowler has going forward.  I will say he looks fit.  
speaking of (un)fit, did you see Molinari?  Too much pasta?  

Ancer better than Griffin but I completely understand going for the value line.  Almost did the same but laid off the anti-Fowler bet.  Couldn’t lay -150 with Ancer.  Too much
