came to put plays in, had no idea it was going to be for match play and not pga tourny that starts on thurs....oh well, we get a few misses if I remember correctly right?

That's why I didn't make the penalty for not making it through group stage too severe...a +20 isn't terrible

Not having started anybody may have been the best play this week.  Didn't use up any big names for starts, and lots of us miss both guys.  Maybe next year for the match play instead of penalize for not making it out of group, we just reward a won match?  Maybe -3 for every match won?  Just a thought we can go over for next year.

Always am looking for ideas to make the match play a more even scoring event...nobody has both selected golfers still alive

I think giving points for how many matches a guy wins would actually work.  If they don't win any, it's 0 points.  But if they advance, they just keep accumulating points.  With only 25% of the field advancing in this format, it's easy to pick guys who end up missing the cut, and the penalty is brutal.  

Or maybe I should just check my panties at the door, and man-up and make better selections next year.

btw, "Dirty Dustin" was NOT the WORST "low odds" selection this week. THAT honor goes to the "Rahn-a-lama Ding Dong" with SIX players selecting him along with Rafael Cabrera Bello three and Pat Perez three

I have to agree with Andy. CMJohnson1 a +10 for NOT making it to the Round of 16 is just TOO punitive. 48 of 64 NOT making the CUT is 75% as opposed to a normal stroke play were about 40% to 50% are CUT
