Alex Noren 50-1 (got @ 150-1 early). recent winner of BMW PGA in England with a final round [-10] for tourney [-11]. he was a four time winner last season on the Euro Tour including another "bomber" final round [-9] for [-14] @ the Nedbank in South Africa. shoots "wicked low" when he gets it going and is never "out of it"
Franceaso Molinari 80-1 (got @ 200-1 early). "The Mole" 2nd @ BMW PGA with final [-4] for tourney [-9]. got "aced out" by Noren's final round "bomber". has played well on the PGA tour this season with a 6th @ the Players [-5] and 7th @ the API [-7]. very steady players who is usually in the Top 20.
Bernd Wiesberger 200-1. "Weeze the Cheese" WON @ Shenzhen [-16] (beat Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff), 4th China Open [-15] and 3rd @ Maybank [-17] he was 12th @ The Players [-2]. like "The Mole" a steady player usually in the Top 20.
Matthew Fitzpatrick 125-1. "The Matthew Mouse" WON the DP World Tour "Race to Dubai" final tourney last season [-17] along with the Nordea in Sweden [-16]. 2nd @ Nordea [-10], 12th @ BMW PGA [-5] and 5th @ the Omega Dubai [-12] this season
Tommy Fleetwood 150-1. Tommy has struggled recently with missed cuts @ the BMW PGA and Memorial BUT can shoot "wicked low" when he is on his game. 10th @ API where he overcame an opening [+6] for a [-6] finish and 2nd to Dustin Johnson by one shot in the WGC-Mexico with a final [-5] for tourney [-13]. WON @ Abu Dhabi early season with a tourney [-17]. 2nd to "Weeze the Cheese" @ Shenzhen with a final [-9] for tourney [-16] to tie BUT lost the playoff. also 3rd @ Hong Kong [-11] and 12th @ Maybank [-9]. an aggressiave player he will either be "Mr Missed Cut" OR challenge for the lead.
Si Woo Kim 150-1 (got @ 300-1 early) "Woo Who ???" WON the Players with a final [-3] for tourney [-10] and WON the Wyndham [-21] near the end of last season BUT can be WAY inconsistent. like Tommy Fleetwood he will either be in contention OR a "blow up" CUT
Alex Levy 300-1 (also a 50-1 "field" player @ South Point). WON China Open with a final [-5] for [-17] and won the playoff over South African Dylan Frittelli. also 8th @ Shenzhen [-13] and 4th @ Maybank [-16]. note: keep an eye on Frittelli in future Euro Tour events. just WON the Lyoness Open [-12], that 2nd @ China open along with 5th @ Shenzhen [-14] and three other Top 20 finishes this season so far. British Open play IF he qualifies ???
the three recent PGA tour event winners. Kevin Kisner 50-1 (75-1 early) @ Colonial [-10], Jason Dufner 80-1 (150-1 early) @ Memorial [-13] and Daniel Berger 75-1 @ FedEx St Jude [-10]. also Kevin Chappell 90-1 (150-1 early) WON @ Valero [-12]. 4th last week @ FedEx St Jude [-8]. 7th @ Masters [-3]
also Jeunghun Wang 400-1. OK after winning @ Qatar earlier this season the 20 year old Korean has been "Mr Missed Cut" ex he did get a tied 8th at his last Euro event the Nordea Masters [-6] IF I do NOT play him, he will sure as hell be in contention AND Andy "Beef" Johnson 300-1. been pretty much "where's the beef ???" this season but the modern English version of John Daly is a personal favorite so a small "sprinkle"
the 50-1 "field" bet @ the South Point, Las Vegas sportsbook is interesting. you get ALL these players plus Alex Levy
