I
am just a regular guy wanting to give you my take on a few of you
games. We are all on the same team trying to cash at the end of the
week. I hope what I have to add holds some value.
DAL -4 SD +6.5 I am from NE, and I am huge Pat's fan but they lose this game outright-never
mind getting 6.5 pts. NE couldn't cover Marshall (7-139yrds) last week
nor Bush out of the back. Marshall posses problems because he is a big
WR and SD has two of them in Jackson & Floyd. Oh ya, they have Gates too!
Then you have Tolbert and Mathews on the ground and in the air. They
catch the ball out of the back field just as well as any back. The
Pat's needed every 500+ yards that Brady put up because their D sure
wasn't going to win the game for them. One last factor, this early in
the season with limited off season workouts couple with playing on a short week is recipe for disaster.
The books are loving this game because the Pat's looked like a well
oiled machine on national TV and now everyone and their mother is going
to back them. I agree with backing them- just not this week.
Again, I am just your avenge guy who know a little about the game of football. |

I will start by saying I have much respect for your capping skills, and I
am just a regular guy wanting to give you my take on a few of you

week. I hope what I have to add holds some value.
First off, I am on the same side with 7 of 9 picks. The Hou, Cle, and Zona being my personal favorites. However, I have to disagree with the following: SF +4 Dal lost last weeks game because of two plays-block punt and fumble at the 1 by Romo. That is a 14 point swing. Those two plays will not happen next week and maybe the rest of the season. If those two fluke plays where erased that game would have been Dal 31 Jets 20 and we would all be riding the Cowboys. On the flip side SF passed for a total of 124 yards and rushed for 85 yards on 32 carries. That is horrible! Again, if it were not for two fluke plays SF would have only put up 19 points. Do you think Dal is not going to game plan to contain Ted Ginn Jr.? He is lucky if he even gets kicked to never mind returning one to the house. To think that SF is going to play offense better this week against Dal (for lack of better words) is delusional.NE -6.5 -115 I am from NE, and I am huge Pat's fan but they lose this game outright-never mind getting 6.5 pts. No disrespect as you are a solid capper but why the Sox U9.5?
Both bullpens are depleted after playing 13 innings. Dice K had to pitch in the 13 if that doesn't tell you something. |

My info. is only from last year. If others would like to go back even further and add some post that would be great as I am on vaction so I can only do so much research.
2009-2010 PLAYOFFS CHI vs CLE Game 1 Cle WINS & Covers -11.5 Game 2 Cle WINS & Covers -10.5 Game 3 Chi Wins & Covers +4 ------------------------------------ series 2-1 after 3 Mil vs Atl Game 1 Atl Wins & Covers -8.5 Game 2 Atl Wins & Covers -7.5 Game 3 Mil Wins & Covers -1.0 ---------------------------------------- series 2-1 after 3 Port vs Phx Game 1 Port Win & covers +8.5 Game 2 Phx Wins & covers -8.5 Game 3 Port Wins & cover +1.5 ----------------------------------------- Series 2-1 after 3 SA vs Dal Game 1 Dal Wins & Covers -4 Game 2 SA Wins & Covers +3 Game 3 SA Wins & Covers -3.5 ---------------------------------------- series 2-1 after 3 Utah vs Den Game 1 Den Wins & Covers -5.5 Game 2 Utah Wins & Covers +6.0 Game 3 Utah Wins & Cover -2.5 ---------------------------------- series 2-1 after 3 OKL vs LAL Game 1 LAL Wins and covers -7.5 Game 2 LAL Wins OKL COVERS +6 Game 3 OKL Wins and Covers -3.5 Facts: 1. Boston and Orlando were the only two teams to go 3-0 2. OKL, Mil, Chi all won game three at home after losing the first two on the road. Opinion: The NBA will do there best to get these series to 2-1 for the betterment of the league and the owners. I believe the books are baiting you to take DAL, MIA, and CHI tonight. Now, I know it is going to take discipline but my strategy tonight is to be consistent and take all three teams that are 0-2, going back home with there backs against the wall. I don't know which 2 I will win but I plan on winning 2 of 3. I can't see the NBA having two of these games go 3-0. Only flaw is that DAL is a dog so they could still loss yet cover. Lastly, if you are going to bet INDY or PHI take the ML Good Luck! INDY ML PHI ML PORT -5.5 |

Under 141.5
The last time these two teams played they score a total of 139 but don't let that fool you. Take a look at the numbers they needed to put up in order to achieve a total of 139. Dav: 54% shooting GS: 46% shooting Dav: 16-22 FT GS: 24-34 FT ------------------- That is 40 points off FT! I can't see these two teams putting up numbers any better than this game. I understand, I am only using one game as my benchmark however, if you can't cover the over with numbers like this then how do you expect these team to cover tonight? It there really going to be 40 pts from the line tonight? Cheers! |

There are far more Packers fans than there are Bears fans across the NFL fan bases. If you dispute that then you are dead wrong.

Who does the NFL want to WIN?
PACKERS and JETS
Packers: Nation would love the Packers to Win. Books can't move the line to -4 as that would result in that many more people riding the Pack. Vegas knows the line should -6.5 to -7 however, if the line was set that high that mean the ML would have to reflect the spread. Way to risky if Chi were to win SU.
Jet: The Jet are made for TV enough said. Jets equal $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the NFL

These lines don't match up! For Bama to be favored the O/U shouldn't be set a 59. Having the line set at 59 indicates that this game is going to played at a pace that favors Auburn.
or Bama being favored by 4 indicated the this game is going to played at a place the indicates U59. Which is it? |

Can someone please explain how they are +1.5?
Tom Izzo plays his team as if it were a hockey team. Subs in and out all game running, running, and running. They might be the deepest team in the league with exception of Duke. Having said this, both teams are going to be playing three game in three nights, I can't see Wash. keeping up the pace. Maybe I am wrong! I know this sounds crazy but I was going to hop all over this game if I saw Mich St. -4 but now that it is +1.5 I don't know what to think. Furthermore, Izzo might be the best coach not only in NCAA but in all of sports next to Bill "The Hoodie" B. He prepares his team so well and his record is impeccable coming off a loss. AM I MISSING SOMETHING!?!? |

But just as Doc Rivers and the Celts had over a month to gameplan for opening night, Byron Scott had the Cavs prepping for THIS game weeks ago. Do you think Boston once thought about the Cavs before say, midnight last night? "Back to back" and "letdown" are merely secondary intangibles in this scenerio. Cavs win straight up. Child Please! |

I challenge all you Cavs. backers to tell me what area that they are better in. Guard Play? Rebounding? Defense? :Leadership? Both the tangibles and intangibles all point to the C's. Lets go player for player! Lets go bench for bench! If you think for one second that the C's line up is not better than 1 point a Q you are crazy!!!!!! I will never use the "L" word but this game is the best play of the day maybe the year! Yes this might go down as the Bet of the Year! You will not see a line like this the rest of the season unless half the team is hurt.

Who is everyone? If you are the Cav who gets the ball with 5 seconds? |
