I have to disagree with your whole write-up. Below, please see my response:

I googled "flu hits ND football team"
What I posted came up. I didn't even notice the click parts of the article. It was NOT my intention to have anyone go to a different site after reading the article. My suggestion is for you to google your own information regarding the flu and ND. If it's any different than mine......FINE......post it for all to read. |

I just posted the flu hitting ND. They won't name the players who have it, but it would seem to me that the spread would reflect anything major I would guess.
Do you see this in any way changing your strategy on your bet? |

It would sure help if they named the players.........but they won't. |

Notre Dame has already lost multiple players this year who are out with season-ending injuries. Now several Fighting Irish players are dealing with a sickness, too. On3’s Tyler Horka reports that several Notre Dame players are battling the flu ahead of the Orange Bowl against Penn State. Horka shared the news Thursday morning on Twitter, ahead of Thursday night’s Orange Bowl matchup. “Been told the flu is going around the Notre Dame locker room,” Horka posted. “Those who have it have it bad, but it sounds like that’s mostly backups and special teams players. Still something to monitor for the Fighting Irish going into the Orange Bowl vs. Penn State tonight.” Having a flu outbreak in your locker room is obviously not ideal ahead of a College Football Playoff semifinal game. It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, it has on Notre Dame Thursday night. |

I discount the Tennessee game because they are so one dimensional that all OSU had to really do was stop the run and force the Vols to throw in less than good conditions. Looking at the splits on VSIN, 90% of the money and 84% of the volume is on OSU, yet that line still sits at 6. Almost like the house is begging people to take OSU.
Now the line is 5.5 |
