Had a 10 team moneyline open parlay and only team that did me in was Pitt at -1800. All I needed was a one point Pitt win at home but nope.
Mind boggling how power conference teams are now getting beat easily by mid-major and lower major teams nowadays. Even on their home floors.

Remember, Oregon vs Auburn National Championship game totals line was 74.
Final score - 22-19.

Poor butthurt people Exactly why the playoff format is needed. Previously we'd be looking at yet another undeserving Alabama team in the national championship game. SEC teams start useless pre-season polls high and it's almost impossible for other deserving teams to climb up to the top two. An EIGHT team playoff is when a true national champion will be delivered from someday.

CF playoff top 25 SEC teams - Alabama - Loss Mississippi St - Loss Ole Miss - Loss Georgia - Win Missouri - Win Auburn - Loss LSU - Loss With the playoff format SEC will be exposed moving forward. Other top conference teams are as good as any top SEC team. SEC lives on the nonsense believe that playing other SEC teams is tough enough and that's enough ticket to every championship game. |

Top ranked SEC teams are no better than top ranked teams in other conferences. SEC just lives in their own perceived world of superiority.
Would have been nice to see TCU do a number on Alabama. To think Miss st and Ole Miss were actually ranked 1 and 3 at one time. Def overrated. Again 1 thru 14 they may be the best top to bottom conference but like all the other power conferences their top two or three is no better off than top two or three in the other confs.

You can only look to hedge the Carolina/ATL game 'cos it starts 4:25 ET. All the others starts at 1 PM ET and should be completed by then.

ASU had won 14 straight at home. Lehigh had just lost by 15 to Quinnipiac two days earlier and flew cross country to play this game. Oh well. Lost a lot of parlays like this but also won a lot of parlays. Just wished I could have hedged on the ML for Lehigh before game started. It was +725. However other games were still in play. In the end still made a nice profit for the day.

Yes, it's ASU -10.5. Just hedge a chunk on Lehigh +10.5. I'm turning a profit no matter what happens. Hope to middle if ASU can win 2nd half by 9 pts.

Smaller schools no longer fear or respect power conferences in hoops
in College Basketball Wow, a 1-8 road Texas Southern team goes into East Lansing and beats Michigan St. Either there's more parity in college hoops or power confs lose players earlier and more frequently or something. Other big home losses for power conf teams this season off the top of my head ... Incarnate Ward over Nebraska Eastern Washington over Indiana E Kentucky over Miami NJIT over Michigan E Michigan over Michigan Yale over Uconn USC Upstate over Miss St And others I don't recall. And virtually all these home teams were favored by around 15 to 25 pts. |

Yup, same here. Have Miami in a ML parlay.
As usual, these home teams tease us with a comeback run only to lose it at the end.

Blowout? As the saying goes, that's why they play the games.

All I needed was a Cal ML straight up win for the game. This is beyond ridiculous. A 5-1 -12.5 pt home fav struggling to beat a 2-3 Big Sky road team straight up at home.

If these are the teams to judge E Ky's offensive and defensive power against then good luck betting E Ky vs a more talented Valpo team. Valpo -2 definitely
