created a topic Thursday weather warning in Tennis In case you're not aware, we are expecting 39 degrees C (103 F) in Melbourne today. The on-court temperatures will soar well above this. You are absolutely going to want to factor this in to any plays you make. - Know which court matches are being played on (indoor vs outdoor) - Know when matches are played (11am starts will be much more bearable than 2pm starts) - Spend more time gauging the fitness of each player - How many sets have they played until this point? Will fatigue be a factor? - Top seeds won't want to be on court for a minute longer than they have to be - Are certain players carrying any ailments into tomorrow's matches? Best of luck.
