At least the Packers have another QB whose name gets misspelled all the time.

PG is right. 5 losses by 4 points or less this year.
Last year they seemed to fall on every fumble and get every lucky break, this year the breaks go the other way. The biggest drop off at any position that has silently killed them is punter. Cutting Jon Ryan was a mistake as Derrick Frost killed them before they finally cut him. Statistically there isn't much change at QB.

It's not Rodgers fault. This year's team has had so many injuries and both their o-line and d-line have been pathetic.
As a Packer fan, Rodgers doesn't have to be better than Favre, 10 years of Rodgers has to be better than 1 year of Favre--and it will be.
Favre gets more credit than he deserves in NY while the addition of Faneca, Pace, and Jenkins have been absolutely huge.
Either way, Favre retired and trashed everyone in the organization on the way out, so the Packers had to move on. Welcome Favre back and you likely lose a pissed off and shafted Rodgers.
The real winners in all of this are the Dolphins, snagging Pennington.

From RealGM
The Knicks are working on a separate deal from their trade with Golden State, which would send Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, possibly for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.
It is believed that Donnie Walsh is ready to make that deal but is awaiting confirmation from the Clippers, who pursued Randolph last summer. |
