I'll take the + money with the team at home and has consistently found ways to win games. Cleveland can't find hits right now. The trend has been to fade the teams who won their division and had a layoff before the postseason. |

PADRES. They've had the Dodgers number this year. Not to mention, Dodgers do not have Freeman. The 3-5 hitters for the Dodgers; Teoscar, Muncy and Smith are a combined 3 for 40 against Cease. I see a lot of stranded runners in the Dodgers future. |

These Mets keep smacking these bullpens
Adding Padres to close out today Freddie Freeman out is big. The 3-5 hitters for Dodgers - Teoscar, Muncy, Smith are a combined 3 for 40 against Cease The entire Padres lineup is laser focused and the bullpen is throwing filthy pitches |

Adding Yankees -105 Lugo is solid but replicating his last performance against the Yankees (7 scoreless innings, 10Ks) is tough against this offense. I like Judge or Soto if not both to get their bats going. Schmidt is capable of holding down this KC offense |

@Irisheric777 That should have said -> Ranger Suarez on the mound who had a 6.54 ERA in his LAST 11 regular season starts. |

The Mets are very dangerous, I've seen teams like this in the past that just ride the wave of momentum. Very confident team right now. I think they get the job done today with the homecrowd behind them. Quintana for the Mets is coming off 6 scoreless innings vs the Brewers and has been lights out the past month. He has a 0.72 ERA, 23:6 K:BB ratio, 0 HR, and only 2 earned runs given up in 25 innings pitched. The Mets have put up, 6, 6 and 7 runs on the Phillies last 3 games and that spells trouble with Ranger Suarez on the mound who had a 6.54 ERA in his 11 regular season starts. Opponents batted .315 against him with an .885 OPS. |

The entire planet is on San Diego tonight are the Dodgers bats really that cold?
in MLB Betting Padres are the right side tonight. They're playing at their peak level and you can tell from their interviews they are laser focused. King vs Buehler is a big pitching mismatch as well.
Shohei Ohtani has gone just 4-for-30 with a single homer when playing in San Diego. That's bad news against King, who has been dealing since the start of June, posting a 2.12 ERA while holding batters to a slugging percentage of .297 across 20 starts. Betts has gone just 2-for-31 at the dish in his last three postseasons as a Dodger and also has a history of struggling in San Diego. In his career, the eight-time All-Star has a .294 batting average while slugging .524 but those numbers plummet to .250 and .456 at Petco Park. |

Following this went 3-1 yesterday, with the Mets letting down. It's now 10/12 times
The winner of game 1 still moved on to the division series 8 out of 8 times previous years.
Riding with the Mets tonight. Quintana has 0.72 ERA in his last 4 starts, giving up 0 homeruns in September.

@IntenseOperator I disagree, obviously this wont hit at its current 88% win rate. But I think there's merit to teams riding that momentum of winning Game 1. That, combined with managers probably over-managing when down 0-1 in an elimination game, and players choking/underperforming under the pressure |

This stat is since the new Wildcard Format. It's a small dataset, so take what you will from it. With 3 dogs winning yesterday, I can see a lot of bettors chasing with the faves today, and that is probably a big mistake. I've seen this story too many times. Diamondbacks last year making their run last year being a prime example

@vanzack Interested in your thoughts on the Eagles. It's a short line, but it looks like Devonta Smith and AJ Brown are both out, while Tampa is getting a few key defensive players back. I realize that's all reflected in the line, but that decimated Philly offense doesnt worry you at all? |

@Ricodamus Good Stuff! I dove into Feltners last 10 starts. He has only gone over 4.5 1st 5, once in his last 10 away starts. He is 1-9 to the under 1st 5. |
