ok, i'll get suckered into this. I don't see any team doing the leafs a favour by taking Dion and his ridiculous new contract. Leafs just signed it, it hasn't even taken effect yet and now you all want it gone, fire nonis for offering it. And fire Carlyle because he was, after all, burke's man.

2 huge collapses in 2 years, wow. But like other posters have said, the building will remain full no matter what, so at the end of the day; it's the fans fault.

Only case I found it doesn't apply is when you're on the pp and penalty shots. Also counts if you get a shorty scored on you.

Misleading stat, imo. It's still relevant but one of the least important of all stats. It might determine how offensive or defensive minded a player tends to be but there's 4 other players on your team that effect the stat.

What if your goalie is pulled? you get a - for getting scored on.

Also depends on how you use it, would be good when considering/comparing equal players. ie. 3rd liner to 3rd liner

Worst contract in the league by far (Gomez) but it has been recouped many times over with the habs recent playoff appearances.

Would you not rather have a contract like Gomez and make the playoffs a few times (going deep in one of them) or do you want a Grabo and just watch the playoffs on tv? 

It's all about the playoffs. Thats why they get paid. 

It doesn't take balls to post plays every day. I'd rather he not post than post this bs. I witnessed his crap last season.

Why is it up to the team with the puck to score?? The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins sure but you don't have to score. A team can circle the puck like a circus show in their own end and hope for a 0-0 tie, it's in their right. Makes for a horrible game but they can still do it.

If tampa wants to do that and the other team wants to sit and do nothing go right ahead. Soon no one will watch TB play and they will not do that any more.
