Honest question.
Is it because they believe they were blessed with their physical talents by a greater power? If said greater power exists, do they care about a basketball game? Seems unnecessary to "thank God our lord and savior" right after a sporting event.

I think it's important to remember Gonzaga has more than just Karnowski.
Williams at 6' 9" and Collins at 7'0" (who is actually getting as much run in the tourney as Karno) are both very good bigs and are equally important to Zags offense as Karno. Zags have more depth at guard with Perkins, Melson, NWG and Mathews, and have the defense to take the ball out of Bluiett's hands. Arizona was not able to handle the pack line and 1-3-1 defenses that Xavier throws at you and doesn't have the jump shooters to make shots over the zone. Gonzaga absolutely has the shooters. The game is also in San Jose which will have a very pro Bulldogs crowd. Xavier is playing at a very high level and is certainly on a roll, but that's about all that's on their side here if you objectively consider all factors. They will have to shoot lights out to hang around here. Good luck on your plays today.

I'm not complaining about the refs because I lost a certain game.
Just wanted some opinions on if a lot of fouls will be continue to be called so I can factor it in to my capping. Good luck.

I'm speaking generally with most games I've watched. Watching the Baylor VCU game currently and it's not any better.

This is brutal. I've been a huge college basketball fan for 20+ years. I've never seen so many fouls called!
Refs are consistently calling fouls on post players sealing their man, people blocking out, screeners barely moving and way too many loose ball fouls. Almost every game i've watched teams are in the bonus very early in each half. Will this subside as we approach conference play as usual, or are these new rule "emphasis" areas going to lead to lot's of overs?Time will tell.... |

The addition of the Thursday game every week has diluted the product. When football was just two days a week it had more appeal. People got excited for the big Sunday slate of games and then one Monday night game.
Even college has games on days it didn't before. With some football game on almost every day of the week, people are less likely to watch a game they don't have rooting interest as it's not rare to find a game on TV these days. Add in the health concerns and vast money NFL is taking in and you're going to lose some casual fans.

First, no question Boise St. is the better team here. Seniors on the roster, James Webb III is an NBA prospect, drmic, thomson, duncan all upperclassman and great players.
Everyone is on Boise, cappers, local media etc. Nevada has great transition D which is a place Boise wants to score and also is a great rebounding team, Boise is not. Also not sure they have anyone to guard Marqueze Coleman. Lawlor Events center supposed to be sold out and crowd rocking. Boise was a six point favorite last year at Nevada and covered, now only -4 and opened at -1.5 at some books. Is there anyone who follows either team closely? Boise seems to play up/down to competition and is going for longest winning streak in program history. Smells fishy and Nevada ML looks tempting. Any information would be appreciated.

You won tonight Good luck hitting 70%+ of your bets long term. It's hard enough to win at -110 juice. If we could all bet easy favorites and win money everyone would do it. Congrats on splitting the atom

It also kinda gave away the ML too though, and although I did take a shot with Clemson ML I am not disappointed at all, because I did not win my parlay today anyway. The frustrating thing isn't getting backdoored, it's having losers like this remind you capping is a simple as what team has the better record. Congrats, better to be lucky than good. Bama was the right play regardless of the outcome.

You're so smart. Just bet -240 ML and thats the key to success. Sure buddy. Game ain't fixed but taking the better team covering spread with 1 min left and getting backdoored is frustrating. Don't know why that is hard to understand. Good luck with your ML bets. Let me know if you need a bookie.

Thanks, bud. Appreciate your posting. Miss having your insight around more often. This site has gone downhill in terms of information since yourself and a few others started posting elsewhere.
I focus more on west coast mid-majors so your east coast info helps fill a void. I'll drop in and share some thoughts when there are more west coast games on the card in the next few days. |

Getting in at good value on plus moneylines and undervalued spreads is a big part of the equation. We'll have to agree to disagree. Good luck, sir. I'll come in and share some info from time to time. Like i said, hope we all can make some money at the end of the day.

Any serious gambler would agree. Stick to spreads, do your research, pick your spots and be selective. This is a tough racket. Not rooting against you at all. Prove me wrong bud

There is no way you can make money in the long run betting these moneylines, especiialy in CBB. I've check Mike's posts the last few season's and he is very square and definitely does not make money. Tail with caution. Mike, you seem like a cool guy. Nothing personal, just don't want people to follow and lose their shirts. Good luck everyone.
