In the playoffs you use your best guy in any situation.  Doesn't matter if he is labeled with the term of a "closer."  50 years ago baseball wasn't a chess game like it is today, pitchers were used all over the place and in different situations.

I have been relaying this on quite a few posts, but here it is again.  Shelby Miller is going to have a tough year following Greinke in the rotation.  They are very similar in style and look for a hitter, giving the teams facing them back to back a head start on Miller.  That being said, with Cueto on the mound and the Giants on a losing streak, I think this is a great spot to lay a decent amount on the Giants to get back on track here.  BOL to you all.

Shelby is going to have a hard year following Greinke in the rotation.  If the DBacks want to get him back to success, they are going to need Ray in between the two.  BOL, I'm with you on the Giants.

DBacks @ Giants

Giants -168 ML

3 units to win 1.85

 

I generally tend to stay away from juice lines above -165, but in this spot, and given the losing streak of the Giants, this is a must place.  Cueto pitching at home to get the team back on track.  Greinke geared that Giants lineup to face Miller, who should like quite similar to these Giants bats.  I feel bad for Miller in this rotation having to follow a pitcher with a very similar style to his own all season long...maybe Ray will find his way in between the two powerful righties.
