The Chefs don't understand the offensive concept of throwing the ball deep (suppose they will start today). Their defense will try to keep the game close but Cassel is a terrible quarterback and Romeo is clueless as a coach. created a topic Teams on Let Down Alert! in College Football Teams I see on let down alert (like Pittsburgh last night): Army - coming a huge win for them against Air Force. They may still be celebrating. Also, like Rutgers coming off a bye week and getting upset by Kent State. Rutgers should be hungry. Alabama: I had Alabama last week and they were lucky to come out with a win. I see them having a hard time getting up for this weeks game with A & M LSU: Coming off a crushing defeat to Alabama. They could of and probably should of won the game. Now they have to come back and get up for a game against Mississippi State. USC: Have to be hurting after losing the big game to Oregon. Arizona State may make it two in a row. Oregon hasn't had a bad game but I can see them throwing in a clunker after their big win. I know California is having a bad year but this is their chance to shine on a Saturday night. Who else do you guys have? created a topic Any Illinois backers this week? in College Football I know Illinois has been getting killed this year both straight up and against the spread but I think they will step up this week and cover the +3 spread against Minnesota. I know the new Illinois coach is not going to let this team quit. I think this is a good spot for Illinois at home. Any comments? created a topic Todd Haley to Romeo Crennel? in NFL Betting I didn't think the Chiefs could stoop any lower than Todd Haley as a head coach. I think they may of just done it. I've watched Romeo Crennel make his quarterback take a knee a couple of times before the end of the half when they were at mid-field or better. Both times they were losing the game at the time, nevermind their overall losing record. What good coach wouldn't let their quarterback throw a Hail Mary to the end zone. What is the worst thing that could happen? You're already losing and you're season is already a loser. I honestly think the Cheifs would have been a much better team the past two years if they had a good head coach. Problem is Norv Turner coaches the other team tonight and he's not a whole lot better. Doing everything they could to get their first Big 12 win. Only to watch Texas score a touchdown with 12 seconds left and yank their hearts out. created a topic Baylor vs Kansas in College Football I like Baylor to cover against Kansas this week. -17 I had Texas against Kansas this week. Kansas played their hearts out and still came up just short in the last few seconds on the score board. (Texas scored a touchdown with 12 seconds left for the win). I don't see how they are going to get up for an away game at Baylor. I know Baylor has been struggling with wins but I think they will take it to a Kansas team that has to be on a big emotional let down this week.
