created a topic LaSalle in College Basketball Lost 7 of 8 and now the line goes down from 5 to 3.5 at Richmond. Seems a little suspect. I grabbed it at +4 and sprinkled some on the ML. No specific reason for the pick, other than it fits what I like. Reverse movement against a public fave for a struggling team. When a line stinks...go towards the smell! created a topic Greatest Fantasy Championship Win Ever in NFL Betting Just had the Niners D lead me to a half point victory in the Championship with the Pick Six followed by the interception of that hail mary to end it. Play almost didn't happen. Atl was lining up to kick FG...Harbaugh timeout...pick off the hail mary to give me the win. Last game of the week...last play of the game...on a play that almost didn't happen...only made possible by a pick six a minute earlier! My boys will never hear the end of this from me. created a topic Michigan State 2h ml and -1 in College Football Spartans are dominating on D...as usual. Nebraska had one TD on a busted coverage. Other than that, not much. Now they're down 13 and a re forced to try to thro in the 2h with their beat up O line. Think smarty increases their lead and wins easily. replied to Oregon and Baylor, at least one can't cover tonight in College Football Would rather put "too much" thought in this game than just blindly follow all the fish who say Oregon blows out everyone, revenge, BCS, etc. I gave reasons for my pick. Home team, veteran D, style of play. I've even heard people mentioning long grass to slow down Oregon?!?! The most important element is the style of play. Last year Stanford dominated T.O.P. they grind out possessions, run the ball and keep that high flying offense off the field. They are clearly the best team the Ducks have played so far, on the road, and they play the perfect style to counter what Oregon wants to do. Stanford keeps it close, and in the process proves to everyone that Bama would destroy Oregon using this same game plan with far superior athletes than Stanford can put on the field.
