Handicapper Right2BearLocks does not maintain a YTD record therefore is not eligible, handicappers must do so in order to appear on the reports.

Handicappers who've been regularly posting picks and want to appear on the report but have not maintained a YTD record to this point must start keeping a YTD record beginning fresh at 0-0 YTD and then maintain their YTD record going forward.

Hi undermysac,

Handicapper SettleDownSpaz does not maintain a YTD record therefore is not eligible, handicappers must do so in order to appear on the reports.

Handicapper LVTruck is located in the very bottom "Waiting to Qualify (Under 50 YTD plays)" category, but accidentally got cut off when I copy and pasted all the data from my worksheet into the Covers posting window. My apologies to LVTruck for that, but rest assured he'll appear on next week's report.

If you (or anyone else reading this) knows of any other handicappers who maintain YTD records which can be verified via their post history but for some reason are not appearing on this week's report, please let me know since I try my very best each week to make sure no one has been accidentally omitted.

Hi Youngbleezzyee,

In doing my handicapper tracking report for this week, I discovered you made an error with your record.

Your record at the end of 2/10 was 52-29. And you went 12-12 last week. So your record is now 64-41.

The error with your record came on your thread from 2/12. At the end of the 2/11, your record was 55-32 as you stated it in that day's thread here:

But then you began your next day's thread stating 55-22 as your record seen here:

I'm assuming this was a simple typo on your part where you accidentally removed 10 Losses from your record.

In any case, your current accurate record is 64-41 YTD which is reflected on this week's handicapping report. Please continue with that record the next time you post any NBA picks.

Yes, this was a typo on my part which I was just about to notate.

You were 164-133 before Sunday's plays where you went 5-1. I accidentally reduced your Loss column by 1 instead of increasing it by 1.

169-134 as of the end of 2/10 is correct and will be reflected on next week's report along with whatever your record for this week turns out to be.

Hi UglyKidJoe,

Yes, MacWestie1 is currently 105-100 (51.2%).

His record on Jan 10th before those day's picks was 104-97 (51.7%). You can see that from his thread here:

WhiteWidow's record is actually 27-28 YTD coming into today.

He was 25-26 before his Friday pick and he went 2-2 from Friday through Sunday.

WhiteWidow - If you could post your YTD record each new day you make picks that would be great. Your choice, no big deal either way but it'd be nice to keep you included on the weekly tracking report.

I could tell from what you said yesterday that this was simply a case of you including plays that you hadn't gotten a chance to post.

When a Covers member posts a claim about someone else's record I always look into it because I want to make sure the weekly reports are accurate.

Since I started doing the weekly reports a few months ago this has happened a few other times with other handicappers so it's really not a big deal and it's always been worked out fine.

Thank you for all the years you've been posting your plays and I hope you continue doing so. I appreciate it as I'm sure many others do too!

Hi totter,

I'm continuing the discussion about your record from yesterday's thread in your thread here for today since yesterday's thread was getting cut off due to a strange formatting issue. I'm not sure if you were able to read the latest posts in that thread so let's continue here.

Anyway - Here are my findings after poster 'coverfraud' made his claims against your record:

1. From 11/6/18 to 11/10/18 (the very beginning of the College Basketball season), the record on your posted plays was 8-12 with 1 Push. However, you erroneously stated your record as being 14-12 on 11/11/18.  (6-0 on non-posted plays)

2. From 1/5 to 1/7 you had no posted plays, but on 1/8 you stated a record that increased from 142-117 to 161-124.  (19-7 on non-posted plays)

3. From 1/20 to 1/22 you had no posted plays, but on 1/23 you stated a record that increased from 192-162 to 207-170.  (15-8 on non-posted plays)

4. From 1/27 to 2/5 you had no posted plays, but on 2/6 you stated a record that increased from 215-184 to 250-209.  (35-25 on non-posted plays)


In total, over these 4 above examples which date back to the beginning of the season, you have given yourself credit for going 75-40 on plays that you never posted.

Therefore, the record you posted today of 252-214 has a massive discrepancy and is nowhere close to being accurate due to your inclusion of 115 total plays that you never posted.

Your real record based on only the plays you've posted is: 177-174 (51.9%) YTD.


Please use this record as your starting point before today's plays. And going forward, please only include the record of the plays you've posted on the forum into your YTD record. Those will be the only plays I will include of yours in my weekly tracking report. This rule is the same for every handicapper here.
