To say nobody can challenge Miami is absolutely not true. I think WAS and ATL both pose potential problems for Miami. Let's not forget the nets went 4-0 against Miami this season and are in a tight battle with Toronto who is a very upset capable team.
I understand Miami hasn't lost a game yet but that's cause they were playing a Charlotte team with out a real inside presence with their best player going out. As for Memphis, I was thinking there's definitely some goof value on them But.... that being said ... I do like OKC to win the next game in Memphis with their back on the rope. |

Look for Terrence Ross and G. Vasquez to show up tonight fellas. The raps are only as good as their role players are playing, even if its not translated into points, there's plenty of other ways to impact a basketball game. I'm buying a hook at Tor -2.
Houston is a good ML play and since they've yet to win a home game in this series its almost a sure bet. |

Great stuff as usual scal. I really like the spot on Houston anddef think the Nets will make it a tight game, but I'm pretty sure the raps still pull out a much neLucl home victory.
Also interesting thing on Houston is they seem to be playing much better basketball throughout the first 2 quarters and then seem to be disappearing when the nerves set in second half. I can't help but feeling T Ross is gonna show up one of these games. Dwayne Caseys extended show of confidence in him must reap a reward sooner or later. Best of Luck Scal I'll be at Maple Leafs square tonight shouting my head off in a sea of red. |

This is the greatest first round of basketball I have ever seen. Bet on them but watch as a fan too.

Agreed Vinces clutch 3 was very reminiscent of old school Vince with the raps against the 76ers, except he made the shot this time.
I think the best stories coming out of the east are the Wiz and the Raps. Two teams nobody really same advancing past their 1st round foes. The west has been a wild duck chase. Portland seems nearly unbeatable and inspired. However their lack of depth could be their Achilles heal. I think that GS will shock the mighty clips. And I do believe San Antonio will claw their way back in this series. As for OKC, I'm not quite sure. They have home court advantage back but they just don't look like the same team. Durant looks tentative and out of form. Westbrook is too impatient and ball hoggish. As always, excellent insight Scal. I really do appreciate all the posts u make. |

Thanks Gene cam. I respect your opinions and think that you cap games with a neutral eye quite well.
For me... I've just seen to much from the raps to believe that they're gonna go down in this series. The Rudy gay trade was the quintessential turning point for this franchise and each and every single player on the team knows what they are fighting for and believes they can win. Kyle Lowry is the heart beat of this squad and he leaves his heart and soul out on that court every game. The team has been feeding off this energy and leadership. I think Brooklyn is an awesome squad with tons of talent and promise. However as far as playing organized and smart basketball, I think the raptors have their number and I think Brooklyn is very intimidated right now. |

I was on the raps every game ATS.
I understand the nets have been amazing for the second half of the season. There's no denying that but there is something to be said about the way the raptors showed up last night and the way the closed out game 3 (even though it was a loss). Im not saying it because I'm from Toronto, I'm saying it because I've seen first hand what they're capable off. They've proved to themselves time and time again that they can hang with any team in the league. I understand its rather optimistic to look ahead to Miami but the truth is raps have home court again and I think they'll hold serve in Wednesday. I understand Miami poses some serious matchup problems but the raptors by the guidance of Dwayne Casey have learned to play some of the most genius and disciplined ball within their own system. They've learned to utilize their strengths and exploit the weakness of their opponents. Can u honestly say that the way they played in the 1st or fourth quarter of last nights victory doesn't scare the Heat a little bit. Unfortunately it looks like the heat will sweep Charlotte and have a lot of time to eat some popcorn while catching the rest of this series. They will obviously be cheering for the raps knowing how the nets have swept them on the season but once again the raptors will embrace the role of the underdog. And once again, they will prevail. The raptors have arrived... And on that note... RAPS TO WIN 4-2 for 2 units ... +275 RAPS TO WIN NBA +5000 1 UNIT. |

Lol agreed. GS stun the clips so the organization has time to lick their wounds and regroup.

I'll tell you where they are....
Sucking on their mothers left nipple! I don't think people understand, the raps are here to take care of business. They've even the series up but have gone 3-1 ATS (or 2-1-1 if u got them late) against the "mighty nets" with their $103 million dollar payroll. Give me the raps series line ! And as soon as it comes out tomorrow, I'll be on it like a fat kid on a smartie for 5 units. I will also sprinkle two units on the Raptors in 6. Anyone who's watched this series closely knows that the raptors are just beginning to find their stride. Demar derozan is thirsty and their interior defence with Amir and Jonas is just too clutch. Not to mention all the hustle they've been getting from Lowry and the clutch play making from Vasquez off the bench who imo is a serious candidate for 6th man. Terrence Ross has gone missing in action but believe me if he shows up and plays like he's capable, I daresay even Miami should be worried! However to stay on the topic of this series, I just believe the nets are starting to wear out while the raptors have just got going. Just my humble opinions rather. |
