I read a lot of the posts on the forum, but I am a strong believer that unless you can back up your opinion on a game with your reasons and or facts, the selection loses credibility. Anyone can just state that they like a team plus the points or minus the points. But to gain credibility on a pick, you need to back it up with your "proof". That is what made Leaguecapper a very good handicapper in whatever sport he handicapped. Just something for people to contemplate before throwing a pick on the board. Providing these bits of info also leads to discussons of those points and provides more insight into how the game may play out. Good luck to all the cappers and enjoy the games !! |

We can make arguments all day for both sides, but at the end of the day the game is played on the field. Zimmer is a good coach, but defense wins championships almost every time in the NFL. Having balance is even more of a plus. Good luck to all and enjoy the game !!

They may struggle to contain Dalvin running to the left, but SF should be able to control this game on both offense and defense.Ok my question is even If the 49ers play a great game defensively how are these beginner playoff team going to play offensively against a very good defense.. remember Zimmers defense gave fits to Grappolo last year why can't they do it again? |

If 49ers play Chicago like defense and turn cousins into a pocket passer it will be a long day..but remember that defense has always kept the Vikings in games even when offense has been horrible.Minny was 2-4 in division. Losing twice to the Bears (what) and twice to GB, playoff team. They also, only beat one playoff team and that was not even in regular season. . Well two if you want to count the eagles. So you were a division loser as you could only take down detroit, and the one quality win you can point to came last week, and NO played arguably their poorest in sometime, (breeze) I certainly wouldn't consider the NFC north or East as a juggernaut so, not really sure that we have a stellar student here in the Minnesota Vikings. |

Smith is a proven commodity and plays well under pressure (see last playoff game vs New Orleans when he was on SF). He is more than capable to carry the offense. His winning percentage is phenomenal. You can't compare Hoyer to Smith. No match. Hoyer's resume is empty. Look at the strength of schedules. Houston beat Cincy when they were 8-0 and a marked target. Other than that win they have beaten no one. Very weak division. KC's schedule was much more competitive. Even the division is tough. Denver defense is stout. Raiders are much improved. Even San Diego is compettive every game. Although Reid has not won a Superbowl, he has gotten to one and won a few playoff games. His downfall is his conservative play at times whch allows teams to stay in the game. Right now KC is rolling on both sides of the ball. They are dangerous to say the least. They more than deserve to be favored based on the overall matchup. KC wins this and covers the spread.
