Depending on that odds lol. But Washington, Detriot, and San Fran are the 3 I would NOT be taking. Especially the teams they are against can easily blow them out.

Throwing down some heavy units on this. Flames, Canucks, Coyotes, Oilers are not going to clear 80-90 points. Kings and Sharks are the only threat and it doesn't look like King's D will get any better losing Voynov like that. With Dany Heatley joining Perry and Getzlaf next week, Ducks will again have the highest scoring team in the NHL. Goaltending could be an issue but Fredrick Andersen is showing some good consistency. They are on the right track this season and at +250 the money is good too. Thought?

To LOSE! Sorry for the trap. I figured a lot people would be curious why on earth someone would chose the Oilers. Scrivens in net with a horrible D in front of him. Not to mention Oiler's inability to score. I honestly feel bad for these guys. Even if I lost my Bet on Tampa Bay I would feel good that they are capable of winning and not go 0-84 this season. COCKY

Good call buddy I am going to take it easy on the totals now. Especially with a 2-2 series going into game 5. Both teams are going to kick it into high gear and I don't know how comfortable I feel with Quick not performing as well and Gibson in net (yes I know he got a shut out lol). This last game could have very easily went over if Kings would have got into the dirty areas a bit more and Ducks actually got shots in the 2nd period.
I would hold off on the totals from here on out of this series. If you want, I personally would lean towards the over 5 only because teams are pulling their goalies multiple times with 2+ minutes left. |

On a side note, Ducks will need MUCH better offense than they had last night. 14 shots isn't going to be a very good way to win games.

So far I have hit 2 unders and 2 pushes. BOTH pushes were last second crap but hey, that's hockey. I am going to ride unders and ducks here on out on top of my series bets. Looks to be a profitable series so far. As long as the Ducks keep it up...

Interesting turn of events in this series so far. I was a bit nervous when they went down 2-0, but Ducks still outplayed the Kings in almost every way. That 7 second loss was terrible and game 2 was no different. I threw $20 at +500 when they were down 2-0 which I thought was a decent bet. I don't bet a whole lot but I figured it was a nice bonus to my series bet if Ducks can pull through.
Ducks will have to see some better numbers from Getzlaf and Perry if they want to survive. Hopefully this series can get evened up tonight! Good luck everyone!

Right now Kings are favored despite home ice advantage for the Ducks (32-8-1-3), and Ducks have beaten LA four times in a row in which three of the games were in LA (including the outdoor game!). Stats also all point towards the Ducks. On a side note I think a lot of people will drive the line by following the Kings bandwagon of "making history" against the notorious San Jose Playoff Tanks. HOWEVER Kings do have a more solid goaltending situation overall, but not against the Ducks. Quick has lost all three starts against the Ducks and let in 19 goals in the first 4 games of the Sharks series. Ducks are also the highest scoring team per shot so far in the playoffs and most goals per game during the season. I just see Ducks having a serious all around edge this series when you lay everything out on the table. Kings are no doubt a great hockey team, but stat for stat I would have to go with Ducks.

Not trying to be Anaheim biased but Ducks are 4-0-1 this season against the Kings despite being HEAVILY outshot in each game. Their only loss came off of a 9 round shootout. However I believe a safe consistent bet would be Under 5/5.5 each game since all their games were very low scoring with both teams playing defensive. Out of their 5 games, there was only 21 goals (12 Ducks & 7 Kings excluding shootout "goals"). I think a safe way to play it this game is taking Ducks on the road, taking each under, and a series bet on the Ducks. I wouldn't be betting on either home team due to the fact the odds are far too heavy for such low scoring close games.
With the Kings inability to score, and the Ducks being the highest goals per shot team in the playoffs this year, I think taking Ducks at anything below -200 is a solid series bet along with throwing repeated number of units down on the unders.

I just can't take any team -400. Going with Astros +350 and +2.5 on this one. $5 bets starting with a $50 bankroll. Yes I know it is only $50 but I only bet what I can afford to lose. Good luck everyone!
P.S. I know Rangers are a far better team and the Astros are pretty much a minor league team at the moment, but I have a little faith in Peacock to keep it a close one. |

I wouldn't take Jets +13 even if they were playing a top 5 college team.

I had everything on run line and pits over 4.5 runs. It just happen to be a bad game. Still can't argue with their 50-30 record.
