replied to Just got back from VEGAS last night...conclusion! in Las Vegas When I approached the lady at check in, I leaned over and had a $20 bill in my had with my credit card and asked real cheerfully if there was a chance of upgrading to the fountain view rooms(planet hollywood). She looked on computer, looked back up at me and said..smoking or not smoking lol. at that point I said it didnt really matter, thankyou very much. created a topic Just got back from VEGAS last night...conclusion! in Las Vegas Ok guys dont post too much here, but have been around for many years. Is it just me but, kids do not belong on the Vegas strip. Omg the freaking kids this past week was unbelievable. I mean from ages 3-10 and i mean lots.There just as many kids as there was bums. I personally would never dream of bringing my daughter to Vegas at an early age. Anyways, in short, did a round of golf at Vegas International, thanks for the tip on that guys. Course was in perfect condition. Did great at the sports book. Nailed the blackjack, and got hammered at the slots with the wife lol. Seen several shows, and a must have for everyone is Terry Fator. That man has talent! Saw Andrew Dice Clay, that was just a waste of money. George Wallace was so so. Mystere was ok. The buffet at Treasure Island was great, as well as Planet Hollywood. All in all, Vegas is slowly getting its teeth kicked in. P.S. the $20 tip at check in still works for up grading your room. It truly does work! Comments or questions, welcomed...cheers guys. I know this was talked about a bit before sometime last year, but if I slide a $20 or $50 at front desk, does that seriously help out in getting an up grade to my room? I was going to pay for an upgrade, but wow not too sure its worth the extra cake..Just asking if it works or if any body has done it rescently..thanks a bunch and good luck!
