replied to 17-6 +11.32 units run in College Basketball im on them as well I think they are better offensively and deeper. The acc tournament has been high scoring so far as all 3 games went under yesterday. A higher scoring game certainly favors nc state and I don't like how Clemson has choked away a few games late with missed free throws. Clemson is the better defensive team but nc state is deeper and better offensively. Clemson has shown they can go cold for long stretchs so their defense needs to be on point. replied to UVA-UNC @ The Dean Dome. in College Basketball Good call on Virginia i really thought when the heels made the run in the second half they were going to win the game. it was unfortunate that Nasir little got hurt early and cam went down with 4:00 to play. They also were pretty unlucky with that play before the half they called a shot clock violation that could have been a easy layup and that coby 3 late in the second half that was really close. I wont argue he got it off it certainly didn't appear that he did. Still Virginia locked down when they needed to and guy killed them with 3's. I was amazed that the game was that close with Carolina shooting so poorly and Va over 50% from the field. Luke Maye was also completely shut down and struggled throughout the game. Good win for virginia time for carolina to regroup they have some tough games coming up after wake this saturday. The acc tourney is going to be awesome. replied to UVA-UNC @ The Dean Dome. in College Basketball You make good points and in a Heels fan so I’ll admit bias but in the three examples you used all heels losses one of them was on the road in November before this team started to gel. The Kentucky game was on a neutral and the Home loss was a product of Louisville making a high percentage of shots. Heels avenged that loss on the road and blitzed them. I know you were comparing the teams as those are ones heels usually struggle with but this years team has a different strength than previous years. They are usually built around 2 bigs and dominate the glass. While this years team doesn’t have that dominating big who can post they are well rounded with guys like Maye cam Johnson coby white who can all shoot it from the outside.
