created a topic I'll be the first to say it: FIXED! in NBA Betting I had Golden State -12.5 Down 11 Utah should have never fouled in the first place. Then after the 2 free throws that put GS up 13 with 7.3 SECONDS LEFT ....WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD GS FOUL?????? Just let Utah shoot it up and go home. replied to Sweeps are too hard, don't ever, every bet them!!!! Don't be like me!!! in MLB Betting I used to track it a while back for a few years I think. The #'s came up about the same each year. Roughly 25% of the time a sweep happens. So that means 75% (or 3 out of 4) there WON'T be a sweep. That's in general. Breaking it down further the HOME team won't get swept very often. Some teams go an entire season and will only be swept like 1-3 times at home at most. I should also point out that in my study I focused on 3 game series ONLY and threw out all the 2 and 4 game (etc.) series.
