Just curious. I am working on a model which I am using Kenpom ratings. I am incorporating adj off & Def , tempo & the 4 factors. Some of the games i do relate pretty well with what the vegas odds would be for that game & some are just way off. For example Last NIght my numbers said TCU -5.96 & the spread at the time I did that was -5 but in contrast I did the Uconn / Marquette game & my numbers showed UCONN -17 way off from what the spread was. IM curious if this happens to other people & If there maybe something else I can add to this model to help. Any suggestions.

I am starting to try & handicap myself. Basically using Point Scored & Points allowed over the previous 3 games as a starting point. I am curious if you guys add anything for the home team. The last time I looked at KenPom he had a 2.84 point add for home team I think

Good info from all you guys. Appreciate your time. Im going to change things up a little bit. I check the threads in here for picks and do my own research on games. I try to look through the days games write down some leans & then go research deeper.

 Thanks for the input. I try to bet the same way you do. Just frustrating when 1 9 pt home favorite loses to a team with 0 road wins. I will keep grinding for sure. I need to find the discipline to not force anything as @TJZags598 stated

 I have found out the hard way on the lesser teams. Definite Jekyll & Hyde. 

Curious what you guys consider to me too many games on a parlay bet. I mainly just bet CBB but I am continually losing 1 leg on a 4-6 team bet. I mostly bet the ML but will pick my spots on the spread as well. I am not a huge risk better $50 is 1 unit for me. I do research the games so im not just throwing darts. Am I playing to many games on a wager 

Quinnipiac such a disappointment today. Had them as a little  Parlay boost today. They had the longest odds of any of my plays today & can't win SU vs one of the bottom teams in CBB.

 Yeah. Houston @ home ML vs Temple the other day. Laying 20. Lost by 2. How does that shit happen. I usually bet the ML & had some fair amount of success this season but the last 2 weeks have been brutal. Marshall last 15 pt home favorite. Nope
