Was eyeing this one down myself before your post and now I’ll be tailing. Totally agree on Cole Irvin. He was very average when he was with Oakland and I watched him face my Royals and he looked the same ole average, fill in starter. Boston should have much more success tonight than they did vs Burnes yesterday. Let’s get this!

It’s a long season and at that point in the game it’s unlikely they are going to come back to win vs a top tier team like LAD. Baldelli was trying to stretch his starter a little longer to save his bullpen. This happens all the time in baseball. All managers understand the grind of the season and how to manage their bullpen.

UConn is winning that game. Purdue’s guards get wide open 3 looks all game because of the doubles on Edey. UConn won’t have to double Edey because they have Clingan and UConn elite perimeter defense will contest Purdue’s guards’ shots all game. I can’t see any way that Purdue prevails. They may cover but UConn will win the game.
