This will be the game Vince Carter gets his 25,000 poiht. Is it possible the Hawks can pull off a win for Carter? |

If anybody thinks the NFL isn't fixed especially after last years vikings vs saints debacle and witnessing Marcus Williams completely and intentionally miss that tackle on Stephen diggs they are in serious denial. How is it so hard to believe that refs, players, and coaches never do anything ever to fix the outcome of a game. |

I had 1800 on browns at +110. I thought I was on the right side of the fix until 1:38 left and they ruled an obvious first down short. I'm disgusted |

At the same time, Giants at +105 odds with this pitching matchup and the Giants numbers against Godley seems too easy. |

Yankees will be only 7 games back if the Redsox lose and they win the 2nd game....Orioles have a Triple A team out there...Coming into this series they were 6-6 with the Yankees but that was when they had Machado/Schoop/Trumbo/Gausman/Brach/Britton...All those guys gone. |

Was up 1500 ended up losing 500 on Patriots yesterday and just lost 250 betting on deji vs Jake paul and my bet on ksi vs logan paul was a push smh. Currently sitting at 750 and chasing my losses. Thinking about betting 750 to win 1250 on the Orioles game 2 because 1. Its the second game of a double header and they lost the first game 2. They are trying to avoid the sweep at home 3. They haven't won in 7 days I figure they are due Really just looking for a reason not to do this |

I cant see that that terrific old nba style defense people love to bring up. Also, the refs gave me every call if you watch the video you can see the refs call the same ticky tack fouls that they call today. Due to the fact nobody has ever seen an athlete like Jordan play with those set of skills in the NBA before he was dubbed the greateast of all time. Nowadays players with Jordans skills are much more prevelant. Nothing that I see on this highlight reel amazes me. In fact I am much more amazed at Donavon Mitchell highlights(not just the dunks) but the actual skill and athleticism. If Jordan were to be playing in the modern NBA I believe he would be an above average player. Lebron would average 100 points against the celtics that mj was playing in that 63 point game. Kyrie irving, Donovan Mitchell, Anthony Davis, Steph curry, Durant, would literally average 100 points in the old nba. Facts only. Players nowadays are bigger faster stronger and more skilled. Also stop the arguments about fouls not being called in the old nba. They called the same type of fouls they called nowadays except there was no such thing as a flagrant foul so all types of fouls we're penalized the same way. That's literally it. Then in the 1990 the flagrant foul rule was made and the bad boy pistons were no longer the bad boy pistons. They were just the Pistons. Lebron is bigger faster stronger and more skilled than everybody that played back then. That might be hard to accept but it's natural for human beings to get more skilled at something over time with new forms of training and knowledge. Could the players that started playing in the first few years of the NBA compete with the players of Michael's era? Majority not. It's evolution.
First of all, you dont judge a player on physique, this is not and never has been a body building competition. By your standards Dwight Howard should be the most dominant player ever...remember when "skinny" KG ate him for breakfast time after time? McHale had better fundamentals/footwork/moves in the post than any player I have seen in my life with exception to Olajuwon (even then its still a toss up, they excel in different ways). Dont underscore that aspect of his game by throwing some flimsy compliment "great post player and decent moves". Also, body type and "size of arms & shoulder" doesnt necessarily represent core/true strength....McHale & Bird are probably terrible examples too because they could bang in the paint with just about anybody and tougher than 90% of the athletes today (esp Bird, he was a psycho...even that animal Laimbeer was scared of him). Athletes today might be better built and conditioned today as a whole but you have to take into account how the rules of the game has changed as well...you cant handcheck a player 60 feet down the court or take hard shots every time they drive to the rim....I would love to see Lebron play the bad boy Pistons & likes. Dont get me started on the modern NBA switching, where Lebron is backing down the likes of Rozier all the way to the rim? These are the really big dudes you are talking about? Only giving up 70 LBS and 6 inches, thats all...might want to check how he got his 44 the other night and who he was matched up against on majority of the scoring possessions.Too many people living in the moment, cherry picking data and arguments without context....LBJ is one of the greatest players of all time but he will never ever surpass Jordan. |
