Win or lose this will be my last bets before I take a long break. Too much stuff happening in my life for the good and I'm finding it hard to dedicate my time to cap games. Doesn't make sense to lose by making bets half heartedly because there's 'value' and money in the sportsbook. Like all people I hate to lose and I can't let it affect me at this stage. I've got to take care of the opportunity I have been given with work and settle down with a young family. Everyone knows if you have the time, discipline and effort, sportsbetting can be very rewarding. Well I'm finding it hard to put in the effort because everything else is consuming my time. It'll be wise for me to move on and let everything happen in life without the occasional punt. I'll be back when my life is settled and with more time on my hands, nothing beats capping games and winning money by kicking back watching sports.

It was their performance against carlton that had me thinking, I've never had any doubts about geelong's ability to play at the highest level and be light year's away from the other sides. This is probably the greatest side we will witness for some time, greater than the lions and the '00 bombers. The comments Bomber Thompson has made throughout last season and now is 'It's too early to get excited, we know how good we can be and what matters the most is what we can do come september'

I love the confidence this team has and rightfully so, I just thought the pies could catch them on the night and even scrape out with a victory. Before you judge their performance against geelong, no one ever doubted collingwood's chances for this game, it was a huge revenge game after the embarrassment that was dished out in the '09 PF I never said they will blow the cats out of the park but you couldn't over look their good form leading into the game and if I  knew they were going to put in a bad game you really think I'd be excited about the 2.10 I was getting against geeelong. It was a situation bet, if it was the finals or played at skilled there was no way in hell I would be making that bet.

This is probably the first time I've made a moneyline bet against geelong and I don't need people to tell me how great the cats are. Where were you guys when I won the futures bet with geelong last season? and yes I backed the saints to beat the cats in that regular season and what happened?

You guys really think I need to be lectured on geelong's greatness after this one bet I've made. I overlooked their game against richmond(skilled), swans(skilled) and the lions(pretenders) and liked the pies coming into the game with the form. Why? because I thought the game means more to collingwood than the cats, Why? geelong has nothing to prove while the pies needed it more to put them in the picture for the GF. This game could and should have ended down to the wire.

I don't like to bet on collingwood much and rather go against the team because of their inconsistency (you would know this if you have been watching my picks throughout last season and now)
But I thought they'll have a big game on that night and I was wrong......that's all it was.

Hey Bobby, when did I say collingwood were the better team, I said they had a good chance of winning that game on their form. I have no respect for geelong? 

Listen to me carefully, my thoughts were these regular season clashes are more of importance for the team(Top 4 contenders) that are opposing the cats. The cat's lost the '08 GF because they clearly ran out of gas and thought they could just coast through for their second premiership. If I had know respect for geelong why did I back em to win last year's flag?

If collingwood played their best you seriously think they would of lost the game the way they have, are fucking serious???  I think they would of played more respectable game and kept it competitive to the siren.

By the way, I  was clearly angry at their shitty performance on friday night, did you really have to take what I said about collingwoods premiership chances that seriously.
