The reply goes something like this:
Sorry if you didn't get a good line on the game. But book X had the line at _____ yesterday between noon and 3:00 p.m. That is the line I am using to evaluate the results, and using that line, the system picked another winner! Let's raise our glasses and drink to the big win. For some of you that didn't get that line, sorry, it's not my fault. |

It looks like the system picked another winner straight up last night when the 9ers beat the Bears. I guess we'll see what happens on Sunday.

I don't know. You see my record on this thread with respect to this system's picks. I think I'm 2-2. I personally bet on Dallas this week and gave up the -3 points. That means it's probably a loser.
I think my favorite pick regarding this system this week is take the points and New England. Indy hasn't covered in weeks and they are laying a ton of points against a really good New England team that has a legitimate shot at winning the game straight up. Good luck |

Hold the presses!!! Correction. I looked at my numbers incorrectly on the Miami v Tampa Bay game. The projected score is Tampa Bay 27 Miami 19. That makes the projected total 46 and the o/u is 43. The over is only a lean. You may want to take Tampa Bay and the points since TB is the projected winner and Miami is such a big favorite. Dallas is still money.

Week 10
Projected Score San Francisco 26 Chicago 23
SF is a -2 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 43 small bet on the over
Projected Score Denver 21 Washington 20
Denver is a -4 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 36 ½ Denver has had to tough opponents with tough defenses back to back—Baltimore and Pittsburgh—and I don't think Washington has the same defense as though two teams. This looks closer on paper than it will be. Again, the system will pick the winner, Denver, but it is too close to call. No bet.
Projected Score Buffalo 24 Tennessee 20
Tennessee is a -6 point favorite and the o/u is 41 This is one that the system is NOT projecting correctly. I think Tennessee wins the game. No bet.
Projected Score is New Orleans 31 St Louis 21
New Orleans is a -14 point favorite and the o/u is 50 No bet.
Projected Score Pittsburgh 21 Cincinnati 20
Pittsburgh is a -7 point favorite and the o/u is 40 ½ Pittsburgh wins the game but doesn't cover. If you have to bet the game take the Bengals and the points. The o/u is way too close to call.
Projected score NY Jets 25 Jacksonville 18
The Jets are a 6 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 39 The Jets are at home and they will cover. The o/u is a small bet. Take the Jets and lay the 6 ½
Projected score Minnesota 27 Detroit 19
The Vikings are a -16 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 49 Of course the Vikings win but I am not going to lay that many points. The under may warrant a small wager. No bets for me.
Projected score Miami 29 Tampa Bay 25
Miami is a 10 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 43 The projected o/u is 54 which is a whopping 11 over the books' o/u. THE OVER IS A STRONG PLAY. This could be the best pick this system makes this year. Money in the bank.
Projected score Atlanta 25 Carolina 25
Atlanta is a 2 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 44 The projected over is 6 points more than the book. Consider a small play on the over. Projected score Kansas City 19 Oakland 16
Oakland is a -1 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 36 ½ no bets.
Projected score is San Diego 23 Philadelphia 21
San Diego is a 2 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 49 consider a small wager on the under.
Projected score is Dallas 29 Green Bay 23
Green Bay is a -1 point favorite and the o/u is 49 Oh, my! Dallas is a dog while being the projected favorite. Looks like a good bet. Take Dallas.
Projected score Arizona 28 Seattle 21
Arizona is a 9 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 47 No bets.
Projected score New England 26 Indianapolis 17
Indianapolis is a -2 ½ point favorite and the o/u is 50 I think the 1972 Miami Dolphins will have one less team to worry about ruining their undefeated record after this week. Indianapolis will lose its first game this week. New England wins on the road. The under is 7 less than the books. Consider a small wager on the under.
Projected score Baltimore 23 Cleveland 13
Baltimore is a -10 point favorite and the o/u is 40 ½ No bet.
Bottom line play the OVER in the Miami/Tampa Bay game and take Dallas and the points to beat Green Bay. You may thank me later. |

Why not just selectively play only the games that the system will win?

Well, now that the Monday night game is over, it can be said that the system picked 9 wins 3 losses s/u. True that.

OK, I lost my "official pick" this week -- NO/Car over 52, but did anyone notice that this system's s/u picks went 8 wins and 3 losses

Ouch! I should have warned everyone that I was going to finally bet on one of Simon's picks this week since I've been missing out on all his winners. Kiss of death. Sorry.

Projected score Miami 20 New England 30 NE is -12 point favorite and the o/u is 48.5 no play for me Projected score Green Bay 28 Tampa Bay 14 GB is a -10 point favorite and the o/u is 43.5 no play for me; However, for those who follow JM NFL, TB is an [A] bet Projected score Kansas City 21 Jacksonville 17 Jacksonville is a -6 point favorite and the o/u is 42.5 I don't like to bet on bad teams, but you may want to consider a small bet on KC Projected score Houston 19 Indianapolis 23 Indianapolis is a -9 favorite and the o/u is49 no play for me Projected score Cincinnati 23 Baltimore 21 Cincinnati is a -1 point favorite and the o/u is 43 no play for me, but it looks like the books used this system to establish their odds Projected score Arizona 24 Chicago 18 Chicago is a -3 point favorite and the o/u is 45.5 you might consider a small play on the Cards Projected score Atlanta 22 Washington 21 Atlanta is a -10 point favorite and the o/u is 41 you may consider a small bet on Washington and a small bet on the under Projected score Seattle 22 Detroit 16 Seattle is a -9.5 point favorite and the o/u is 43.5 I am not going to bet on this game Projected score New Orleans 32 Carolina 27 New Orleans is a -14 point favorite and the o/u is 52 based on the projection, the Saints is a “no play” but you may want to play them anyway. The over/under here looks like the best, and possibly, the only bet based on this system. The projection is 7 points more than the o/u and the final score could go even higher. Play the over 52 Projected score San Francisco 25 Tennessee 21 The 9ers are a -4 point favorite and the o/u is 41 this is another example of how close this system is to the books, but the over bet is a “lean” Projected score San Diego 33 NY Giants 20 The G-men are a -4 point favorite and the o/u is 47.5 hmmmm, it looks like the Chargers are the bet given their projection is 13 points higher than the Giants and the Giants are a -4 point favorite; that means between the Bolts being a +4 dog plus their 13-point. projected cushion, that makes them a 17 point play. I guess the system recommends this play. I will only make a small play on the Chargers. Oh, by the way, the Giants are a John Morrison [A] bet this week. Projected score Dallas 25 Philadelphia 22 Eagles are a -3.5 favorite and the o/u is 49 looks like a lean to the Cowboys and a lean to the over. Actually, I like the over as a small bet. Projected score Pittsburgh 25 Denver 19 Denver is a -3 point favorite and the o/u is 39 The Steelers are coming off the buy week and Denver is licking its wounds after facing Baltimore's tuff defense. This has the makings of an upset or at least a lean for the road dog.
FINAL ANALYSIS the only play I like is the New Orleans v Carolina over 52

Do yourself a BIG favor. Don't use any of Morrison's sign-up/bonus codes. They are nothing but a rip off. Use his system. Just don't use the sign up codes.

". . . so why should anyone be eager to get his advice on a game?"
OK, would you please direct me to the thread or threads where only the winners are picked. Any sport or sports on which the books offer odds will suffice. |

Well now all of the self appointed regulators whose mission it was to protect the ignorant from the evil sN--give your selves a big hand!
Congratulations for a job well done. You got rid of that dishonest rip off, sN. Thanks for nothing. |

Quote Originally Posted by BigPod: Is there a thread that explains the a,b,c bets that I can read so i dont have to flood u guys with a ton of questions? This is the "chase" system you said you didn't understand on the other thread. That is, you are betting that a certain team will win at least one of its next three games. So your A bet is to win $X. If you win, you're finished with that team for this series. If your A bet loses, the next game you bet on your team with your B bet to win back your A bet losses plus what you would have won had your A bet won. If your B bet wins, you are finished with this series. If your B bet loses you bet on your team to win the next game--the C bet. You bet enough on the C bet to win back your losses on you losing A bet and B bet plus enough to win what you were trying to win on your A bet. If your C bet wins, you win. If your C bet loses, your just lost a ton of money. The above describes a 3-game chase. There are 2-game chases, 4-game chases, etc., etc. A chase system means that you are prepared to keep pounding a set number of games until it wins, and wins what you wanted to win plus win back your loses if your first game loses. This form of money management is commonly referred to as the Nightengale system. Many on this board do not care for the potential loss an unsuccessful C bet would bring, so a different money management system is used call Labroche (spelling). The chase system is still used-you're betting that a certain team will win one of its next 2, 3, 4, etc games (depending) on what your system calls for, but the attempt to recover lost money is spread over several games instead of trying to recoup all of your losses on the next game. |
