I'm not saying there is a secret faction running around making people place stupid bets, but I do believe Vegas misleads bettors with low lines to win. If you disagree thats fine.

Keene goes off, CMU by 10+. I like the rational here but I think the in-state rivalry will play a factor as well. I can't see WMU winning, but decided to get them at +8.5 in a teaser because of the good 'ol gut feeling. Good luck but I'm hoping your 10+ points is off a little!

Line down to -2.5 for CMU now...

Thin slate tonight so I've been looking at each game individually and this game makes me think...
Obviously CMU and WMU have the rivalry, but is that enough to think WMU keeps it within 4? Line opened at -4 and moved down to -3.5 even though 71% of the public is hitting CMU. I took WMU in the "trap game" +2 line vs Ohio a couple days ago... WMU had a huge comeback in the 2H to win that game. CMU on the other hand is coming off a disappointing loss vs Buffalo after looking like they had the game won. I'd imagine CMU is coming into this home game a little hungrier than the Broncos. - CMU is 9-1 at home this year while WMU is winless on the road - CMU at home is averaging nearly 92 points a game while WMU comes in around 68 on the road. Only thing that I can think of is WMU coming in with a defensive game plan to try and slow down the Chips (O/U line went from 178 to 176) but I just can't see it. I'm thinking if the line moves down any more (anywhere from +2 to +3 for WMU) then Vegas is thinking this will be another trap. Any inputs would be great, and BOL to all of you

The line moved to -5 while I typed this... sensing I'm not the only person who feels this way!

I don't post often but I had a thought I wanted a second opinion on.
I believe Davidson -4.5 is a solid early morning play. With Missouri coming off a later overtime game, I can imagine heavy legs will play a factor in the outcome. During their game vs Clemson, Davidson missed 16 CONSECUTIVE 13s...that is an accomplishment I don't see happening again. Their leading scorer from last year Jack Gibbs now has a solid game under his belt after missing their first game with an injured shoulder. Missouri is coming off an overtime thriller vs Xavier (who I personally thought was overrated from the get-go) in which Phillips, Hughes and Puryear all scored 21, 24, and 22 respectively while the rest of the team combined for only 15 points. The thing about those 20+ points is that they came with 40+ minutes of playing time as well. I can't see those three having a repeat performance to keep up with a Davidson offense who will take advantage of a team with tired legs coming off a somewhat emotional loss. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought -4 was a solid number to start the day. Best of luck to all of you regardless!

PlaysReds/Braves over 8. With two already terrible bullpens taxed to the max after a couple of slugfests this series can the Reds really trot out Alfredo Simon again???????Rangers. -114. Rangers are 9-4 with Lewis on the mound.BJays -128. Have won 5 of their last 6.GL today[/Quote]
Looks like the Reds are throwing out Straily instead of Simon. I agree with the bullpens being drained but does that change your opinion at all? |

I had Puig as my clincher in a 3 way parlay, as well as a bet on its own. Originally the match was set for 11:30 am, and I have gradually watched it get pushed back all day.
Now I'm seeing all the remaining matches today, including Pliskova/Barty (which was almost through the first set) has been moved until tomorrow. Can anyone throw an explanation my way? |

Any clue when Puig is going to start?

Initially I was intrigued to play Berrer here because of the home court advantage, but I think I'm jumping ship to Jaziri. While neither of them play specifically well on grass, I can see Jaziri quieting the "home crowd" and squeezing out a W here before losing in the next round.
My only question is does anyone think Berrer at -135 really gets that much advantage playing in Germany? BOL everyone

I wish covers could be like an app that sends notifications when certain people post. This would block out all the new comers and trolls and only notify us when important people post. Great pick though Scal, looking forward to MM with you brother
