He is a Laker great and was one of the best team mates anyone could wish for. He can work with and develop the big men also while teaching the rookies about the pitfalls of this league. Lakers have one of the best benches in the NBAavg around 51pts a game Lou Williams is a 6th man of the year candidate. He is another veteran player who gives it his all every night. He is a very reliable 3pt shooter and he keeps the Lakers in many games with his 20pts a night. Jordan Clarkson is a great young player. He is so mature for his age and does everything so well. He is another great shooter and is very efficient. Larry Nance JR is a great team player. He hustles hard every night. He does a lil bit of everything. I love his dunks and I think he should be in the dunk contest this year. He would win it if he was. Brandon Ingram is having a decent rookie year. He is not the best jump shooter but will get better once he developes but what he does do well with is his defense. He can lock down many guards in this league with ease for one so young. Finally a special tribute must go out to Metta World Peace. This guy is the ultimate team player. He rarely plays any meaningful mins but never complains and always practices hard. His veteran leadership is vital for this young team. He has seen it all in this league and can pass this down to the young rooks. The way Ron Ron has matured over the years is something to behold. He was a bit of a thug back in the day but this guy has evolved into a respectable citizen of society. No one ever talks about the good things he does for people. Selling his championship ring to raise money for charities in 2010 and raising mental health awareness was both class moves. I salute you MWP! The rest of the bench is made up of young talented rookies & Jose Calderon and they will add to the quest for success in Laker land. His no look passes remind me of Magic Johnson. He will only get better. Nick Young is having a career year. He is very efficient with his shots and is draining them in from 3pt land. This guy deserves to be an all star this year. He is even playing defense which maybe a suprise to some. Really pleased with Swaggy P this year! Luol Dengs veteran prescence and leadership cannot be understated. He does all the intangibles really well and is really good for the lockeroom. Julius Randle is another future all star. This guy was called a bust when he got injured but he is a walking triple double on any given night. As my brother would say Russell Westbrook has got nothing on Julius Randle! Randle can shoot, rebound, assist and can even handle the ball for a big guy. Timofey Mozgov is one of the most underated Centers in the league. created a topic LA Lakeshow To Win the Western Conf 400/1 Info Inside in NBA Betting Right here goes. Here is why the Lakers will win the the West. The Lakers just played a doozy of a game against the Indiana Pacers 108-96 win. They are only 7 games outside of 8th spot. Lakers are now going to go on a run during this 2nd half of the season and will make 8th spot. They have one of the easier schedules over the 2nd half of the season. Luke Walton has too much pride to let his charges give up without a fight. They showed this Vs Pacers the other night. They will make up these 7 games no problem. Luke has very high standards. Lets not forget he is a two time champion. Luke was the real mastermind behind the GSW NOT STEVE KERR. What Luke has done for this Lakers organisation is nothing short of remarkable. We won 17 games all of last year and this season we are sitting pretty on 16 and we are just over half way. What an achievement that is for this young team. Every Laker fan should be beaming with my pride because I certainly am. Luke is a coach of the year candidate for me. He is the best young coach in the league. Brad Stevens of the Celtics could learn a thing or two of Luke. Once we have made 8th spot, a first round date with GSW is on the cards. What a matchup that would be for the NBA. Luke going against his mentor Steve Kerr. We all know Lakers can take care of GSW. They have proven it this season by taking care of them at home. We do not fear GSW OR ANY TEAM IN THIS LEAGUE. We have 16 banners to our name why should we fear anyone!! GSW touch cloth when they play us. After we destroy GSW we will take of whoever is put in front of us.
