Really appreciate everyone's meaningful contributions. All are solid options, it is clear the real question is: How Risk adverse I am looking to be?
Not sure yet on that but leaning towards letting majority ride. I am thinking of having some money ATL 1H -3 (because I always consider them quick starters at home anyway) and seeing where that goes. and if ATL's line somehow drops to 4 or less, I will use a little money and do a NE/ATL 7 Pt Teaser for a little too. |

As of ride now I'm inclined to let it ride... if the wager was to win 50 K then I would be more serious about hedging....
The Line in the Pack is interesting, as you would once again assume by making the Pack more than a 3 pt dog, the Public will once again look to back them. I am hoping Jordy will be able to play and some Sharps jump on the Pack too, to Drive the spread and Line down and maybe get Falcons at a more affordable price. Obviously have a week to think everything over and still would like any advice people have

The bet is only for who will meet in Superbowl.
There does not have to be a specific winner. As things stands right now, if both the Packers and Steelers were to somehow win next weeks games, I would win the bet of 200 to win 5000.

I forgot to mention, also have a Possible Matchup with Packers versus Patriots.... Which is 100 to win 850.
Any advice would be great.

How to hedge.... Superbowl Potential Matchup: Steelers versus Packers
in NFL Betting
Looking for advice on what someone else would do if they had already risked 200 dollars to win 5,000 that the Potential Superbowl Matchup will be Packers versus Steelers...
How would you go about Betting/Hedging this week. Thanks LocksmithMonstr

NOONEZ.....
Scal, Out of curiosity what are your thoughts on tonight's game. We know you faded them before (Which is irrelevant but it does prove you at least have a feel for Wyoming as a team....) They have let up big points to teams that can run the ball.... However, they are a great Underdog type of team with a very respectable coach... Should one of BYU's Best RB of all time, run all over? Does Hill's injury Completely worsen this teams ability to run an effective offense? (but they have an experienced Mangam?) So for the pure sake of hearing your thoughts (NOT TRYING TO GET A PLAY OUT OF YOU) please enlighten me... |

This was one of the plays I was looking at.... I honestly did not watch Minny at all this season. Are these 10 guys relevant players?
Can someone clue me in?

ALL you Haters suck and are annoying.... You non-stop Clutter this form about endless nonsense about a Guy's picks you all claim not to give a sh4t about and Then ruin a person's thread for the sake of being Bullies. Let the Guy be, he may be "arrogant" so WHAT? He posts information about why He likes a play.... Dont like long essays, DONT READ it. Dont agree with his play and think it sucks? FADE IT, Fade it quiely, but you dont need to Taunt the guy. Some of us here just appreciate the fact, a detail oriented Capper will post his thoughts for better or worse.
So Please, keep the hating posts to a minimum, Most of us view the forum, to gain information or have constructive talks about football, not to hear your personal thoughts on why the play is garbage and over 20 minutes into a football game.

Hi Lar,
Walter and Cooler make great points! For Degenerates like myself, who know they are going to ultimately make more than 1 straight bet, I tend to do Reverses (ESPECIALLY, if you can Identify one strong play) so you can have a lot of fun and do multiple reverses : ) I agree wholeheartedly with Cooler... NO TEASERS in Coll foot.... The Point Spreads are much stronger in NFL and your Extra points go a long way.... DO NOT Tease in College football just not worth it. |

Drake..... Is it true in Coll foot, if you score a FG or Touchdown first... and then on Defense.... once you intercept the pass, you cannot take it to the house? Do they really blow the whistle once you intercept the ball and maintain possession?
I would imagine in the NFL, you could cover the 8.5, if you kick a FG first and then intercept the ball and return it for a Touchdown..... Unless you are saying again they would somehow blow the whistle dead.

I have been using this site for over 13 years... Thought so many times to create a name to Comment, Share, and post my own thoughts. The Barber is a great follow.... It's rare to find posters that you share the same outlook on football (On how the game should be played) I already have my leans but I certainly like to read your thoughts before locking in..... All you negative posters, please stay away and keep silent. Let the Man share his opinions and try to help Everyone make some money.
Barber please post when you have some time..... |
