Jets + points

The Pats made a big mistake by rubbing it in the Jets faces with the blowout back in Decemeber. They could have just as easily rested their players and showed some class. This is a revenge game for the Jets. I see the Jets giving one of their best performances of the year in this game. I'm not saying that they win this game but they will keep it close.  

Over 205.5

I love the over in this game. Both teams will run up and down the coort. Even without Billups this game will go over the total.

Wizards +10.5

I'll take the home dog in this one. In the last 5 games at home the Wizards have not lost by 11 points. The Lakers have been winning, but they haven't been blowing anyone out. I can't see the Lakers being up for a game against the lowly Wizards. The Lakers will win, but they won't cover the spread.

San Fran -155

Lincecum at home has been money all year long. The Giants have won 5 out of his last 6 starts. This is a game between 2 similar teams and Lowe has also been pitching very well of late. I see a game where home field will be a big advantage. I'm taking the home team and I'll lay the juice.  

Tampa  -whatever the number is

Tampa lost the first game, that won't happen in Game 2. Tampa needed a wake up call and boy did they get one.

Yankees -145

The Yankees pitching has been rough the last 2 months of the season. The 2 guys you can count on to go out and keep the Yankees in the game is Sabathia and Petite. CC is the ace and he knows how big tonight's game is. The winner of tonights game wins the series. Girardi will have his team ready for tonights game. I hate betting against a home dog, but this is a good spot for the Yanks. 

I think the under is also a good play. I have to look at that more before I put in a play.

Utah +6

Jazz played the Lakers tough last time out. This is do or die for them tonight. They dont want to go down 2-0 and have to go home. The Jazz either win this game or keep it very close. The 6 points is a gift as Vegas knows the public loves Los Angeles and no matter what the number is they will take the Lakers.

New Orleans +5.5

I'll take the live home dog in this one. New Orleans is always tough at home and I think they will put in a good effort and against King James and the Cavs. The Cavs win this one, but they don't cover the spread.

Celtics -4.5

This spread opened up at -3.5 and has now gone up to -4.5. The public is all over Nuggets and the lines is still going up.

While the Nuggets are an improved road team I still don't trust them on the road. Denver did just lose last night to the Knicks.

I'm taking the Celtics and laying the points.

Sure, both of these teams don't play any defense. If you look at the last 5 games both of these teams are averaging less than 100 points a game. I see a lot of missed shots in this game causing this to fall below the posted number.

Phoenix - 5.5

I was all over Utah yesterday. I knew that they would cover against a Phoenix team that has been struggling on the road. Now, Phoenix comes home and they did need them some good old fashioned home cooking. The last time they played the Bobcats embarassed them by blowing them out. Tonight, Phoenix gets their revenge. Phoenix wins and covers this one easily.

Utah -7

Utah is a monster at home. I learned that you either take the Jazz at home or don't play the game.

Phoenix has lost their last 4 games on the road. 3 of the last 4 games were lost by at least 7 points.

On the Flipside, Utah has looked great at home. They have won their last 4 games and 3 out of those 4 they have won by at least 7 points.

This is a big spread for a team like Phoenix to bet getting and Vegas is hoping that bettors will jump on Phoenix. I'll take Utah and give the points tonight. 

Under 190

Both of these teams play D and will keep the number under the total. This will be a playoff style game with both teams really bringing the D. Also 89% of the public is on the over and the line has not moved. I'll side with vegas on this one.

Miami -6.5

I'll be honest when I say that I don't trust either one of these teams. I like Miami at home on national tv to bring a good effort time. The last 2 games that Miami had they forced Boston into overtime before finally losing the game and they beat an Atlanta team that has been playing well. As for Indiana they lost the last 3 out of 4 road games. 2 of those loses were against New York and OKC. Indiana's road woes continue tonight as Dwayne Wade and company take this game and cover the spread.

Cavaliers -10

The spread keeps increasing but the stats show that there is more money on the Raps right now. Vegas is begging people to put money on the Raptors. This game will be a blowout. The Cavs have revenge on their minds after the beating they took from the Raps back on 10/28. King James loves playing on National TV and will put in a big effort tonight. Cavs take this one by 15+.

Bulls/GS Under 215.5

As pointed out already the Bulls have won the last 4 in this series. The Bulls will dictatate the speed of this game. They can't match up running up and down the floor with The Warriors. Look for the Bulls to play some D and keep this under the posted number.

Memphis -2

Vegas is begging people to jump on The Suns with this line. Memphis at home is a tough team to beat. This month they have beat San Antonio and Utah at home. While, The Suns have looked terrible on the road. During this road trip they have lost to Charlotte and Indiana. Those aren't exactly what I would call good teams. Memphis gets it done again tonight.
