created a topic I got a system - Monday in College Basketball Fair warning: I have watched about 45 minutes of college basketball all year. That's about 45 minutes more than the last 10 years. So without further ado, I have developed a Mascot strength ranking and I am making my picks based on it. Let's get to the picks! created a topic Schedules in an format excel can use in Covers Help I was wondering if anyone knew of any sources for daily, or season long, schedules that can be ported into excel in a usable format. I am primarily concerned with NCAA basketball since there are so many games, but NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and NCAA Football would be great to. replied to Win percentage by sharps in College Football Assuming I can work through my data and find reliable predictors I will. I am pretty sure Ive got hockey to a point I am happy with, Im just running it a bit longer to make sure nothing changes. I loathe the idea of someone losing money on my takes. Im at just over 1200 games across more than 50 days at this point. Im up just under 300 units, but I am also in the middle of a second poor week. I plan to cut the volume down significantly once Ive got my data to just the high expectation games, but right now I am just trying to figure out which those are. With such a huge game sample, and a marginal ROI (9%) in a sport that often has dozens of games a day like NCAA basketball does my positive EV games could quickly turn to negative EV with additional data. I am down 24 units in NCAA basketball and 12 in NBA over that span, clearly an issue. NHL and NCAA football seem to be reliable. Ive still got a ton to work on with the others. created a topic Win percentage by sharps in College Football I have been tracking picks in NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA Basketball, and NCAA Football. I am trying to figure out where my results stand with respects to sharp bettors. Since NCAA is pretty much done I am starting to go back though and analyze now. These numbers are for week 7, when I started, through today 12/30/2016. NCAA against the spread: 72-41 (63.72%) NCAA Best picks: 15-3 (83.33%) NCAA Moneyline Underdogs: 31-28 (67.22% ROI) I know these numbers are good, I am not trying to humble brag. I am really trying to figure out where these rate against experts. I see the section of the site with rankers for the last 30 days. Is that only people who post here? replied to Risks using online sportsbooks in USA in General Discussion Its been a long time since I have used online sportsbooks, well before poker black Friday. From what I have read theres not a whole lot of risk of legal trouble, but I keep hearing about trouble from people getting paid. If I were to use a sportsbooks from inside the US, which would people recommend. My only consideration is getting paid winnings, I am alot less concerned with the offerings of different sites. For the life of me I cant remember the name he was using, but one day in the forums this guy started giving out mens tennis picks. And he was never wrong. I remember in high school staying up until 4 in the morning watching the Australian Open, I hate tennis, just to watch these longshots he was calling come through. He was only active for about 4 months and then he disappeared. I dont remember the exact number of matches he gave, it was atleast dozens. Its been a while so its possible I am remembering, but I dont think he got a single pick wrong the entire time he was posting.
