Wasn't a huge Seahawks fan but my nephew is on Pete's strength and conditioning staff since the USC days. He said Pete put a good word in so they are most likely staying in Seattle. Was either that or try to get in where Brennan Carrol is. |

With all the processor BS, bounced checks, WU hassle I said f uck it.What intrigued me was how the people who were using said it was seamless getting your money in and out fast, very fast compared to todays standards for US residents.Less options and a little difficult to wrap your head around at first but once you get going moving bitcoin around is pretty easy. I can get my money in and out of a book in 1.5 hours. Yes I can get a pay out within 1-2 hours after a win. No waiting weeks or months for checks that may be rubber or WU hassles from Michael Jackson Gonzalez.I sort of equate it to how netteller was back in the day for US residents.I highly recommend it for US residents. It is really building steam right now as I see more and more websites accepting bitcoin as payment and not just for gambling.I fully expect our government to intervene and completely darn it up somehow down the road. But until then I can enjoy betting again while it lasts.
Crazy how much has changed since this thread. So many great projects and scam coins as well. If I only knew then what I know now. Still have done pretty well trading BTC and alt coins over the years. Had some big hits and some big losses. Crypto replaced my degen fix for sports gambling, I still play poker just not as much. Took a while to get over the fear factor but I am "all in" with crypto and it's paid off well. |

Agreed but unfortunately intelligence doesn't seem to track very well if there isn't a charismatic personality behind it. A commanding presence, drama and "gotcha" moments seem to sell the best to the people these days.

The only one I would consider is Tulsi Gabbard. She is more of a centrist than the rest who lean EXTREME left. I am tired of this swinging pendulum from far left to far right and back again. I know they are politicians but they all feel fake as Fuq, Warren included.

Feels like the subject of ufo/aliens is on a major news up cycle these past few months. Watched the clips of the recent military vids. Watched the Bob Lazar interview on the JRE and was definitely interesting. Need to catch the documentary on Netflix now. With a quick search there are a lot of videos of recent UFO sightings across the globe and/or pancake (if you're a flat earther). It's an interesting theory that the government is pushing this topic more and more to slowly acclimate society to a point we are reasonably comfortable with the official reveal. It's only a matter of time... |

Came across this article on CNN this morning. They reference he is still missing. I thought they found his body a while ago? https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/13/americas/12-arrested-in-costa-rican-kidnapping-scheme/index.html

Before that LA county voted in a sales tax increase for the homeless which they have done absolutely nothing for. Of course there is Brown's 12 cent gas tax increase that was shoved down our throats, but realistically the idiots would have voted it in anyway if given the chance. Every f'n cycle there is a new school bond and it passes every time. When does this sh!t stop. How about better fiscal management and cut some of those top heavy jobs that don't do anything. I have a friend that is barely scraping by but votes for this bs every year then complains when her rent utilities or grocery bills increase. I explained to her the correlation and a went off. Voting day has become a new holiday for me, state Disappointment Day. All these idiotic CA voters are standing on my lawn. |

8 years ago in Watts/South Central trying to give this old lady relocation money to move out of her house because my client foreclosed on her. One of the stipulations is that she had to have all personal property removed from the house and the house had to be in "broom swept" condition.
She called me a couple times that she was ready to go but when I would go out there would still be furniture junk etc. so I explained to her I couldn't give her the check until it was gone. I was always polite to her and she was very nice and understood the situation. Finally she calls and says everything is finally out. So I go to the house and there are about 5 or 6 gangster looking thugs in the front yard with a truck full of junk. I am hesitant but figure she hired some people to get it all out so I walk up to the door and she greets me to come in. We walk through the house to verify it is all clean and end up in the back yard. There were a few things left but I told her I would take care of it, I didn't want to keep coming back. All of a sudden I hear yelling and fighting in the front yard and a gun shot. She looks at me and said God damn crackheads I knew I shouldn't of hired them. Her grandson and the "movers" were from different gangs and eventually got into it. She told me to stay there and went to the front and chased them away. Essentially I was trapped in a back yard in Watts with a gang fight going on in the front yard. I was scared shitless being a Swedish-American guy in a suit. I was looking at which fence to jump to circle back to my car and bail. She went up there yelling at all them and the truck with the crack heads finally left. I gave her the money and came back later to board up the house. I have worked in the deepest parts of the hood of Los Angeles, Compton, Long Beach for years but that was the only time I had actually feared for my life. |

In my late teens visiting family in rural NW PA. Three of us in my cousins Ford Bronco circa late 1980's, I was in the back seat. The drunk feckur was hauling behind on a rural country road pitch black after a party and lost control flying around a bend. Vehicle slid sideways off the side of the road and hit a tree stump which stopped us. We open the driver side doors to get out and immediately fall/slide about 20 feet down an steep embankment. If we didn't hit that tree stump I am positive we would all have been dead or critically injured at minimum. We eventually walked back to the party and they said they heard the crash, thought for sure we were all dead.

Old but relevant Crypto isn't going anywhere. Still plenty of good opportunities in alt coins if you know what you are doing. |
