Barber,
You're a boss, but you gotta trust yourself more than your contacts. They screwed you onto the losing end on Browns and Lions games. You had nailed both picks yourself. You better win that tourney, man. WTF |

This is just beyond brutal. Can't remember seeing a bloodbath like these last 2 weeks before. Hope you bounce back, Barber.

Barber,
Just wanted to yell you that you are the man, sir. You cap the games, give us the picks (knowing we rely on you), answer all the questions, and you're usually right with all your picks. We are very fortunate to have you. Please keep it up. Have a great card this weekend. BOL |

Barber,
Quick question. Is it fair to assume that on picks where you haven't listed the number of units that you're betting, that those are 1 unit picks? Thank you for your info, brother. BOL to you. |

News today on Patriots injuries. Dion Lewis 2nd surgery, out 8-10 weeks. Sebastian Vollmer out again, possibly for the season. Shaq Mason broken hand. All today. Love the question. I was going to place a huge division future wager on the Pats to win the division at 4-9, figuring it was a lock. They probably still win, buy I'd be too scared to place a huge bet on it with all these injuries. Would love to hear other people's division locks that have odds value. Cowboys may be a possibility.

Probably a stupid question but I just want to make sure before I go. Do all Vegas sportsbooks have NFL Division Lines that you can bet on? Also, are the lines available after the season has started or do you have to place your division bets before the season starts? Figuring yes to all, but just making sure. |

Was thinking of placing a futures wager on the Steelers to win the AFC North this year. Maybe after week 2 or 3.
I recall seeing some posts regarding the Bengals this year but forgot where. Do you guys realistically think that the Bengals or Ravens can take the division this year? I have my doubts. What do you guys think? All responses greatly appreciated. |

Do the Vikings have any realistic chance of winning their division this year? Or are the Packers taking it?

Also, can you bet the Heisman future during the season? or must it be done before the season starts?

Fair enough, but realistically though, who could win it but Watson or Fournette. I am even having doubts about Fournette a little.

Do you really think so?? How likely do you think it is that FSU beats Clemson?? That game scares me if I pick Watson to win the Heisman. I think that game could really go either way. Do you think Watson wins the Heisman if Clemson loses 1 game, and that loss is to FSU?? What if LSU beats Alabama?? I know LSU is solid, but apparently hey have a reputation for underachieving with Miles as coach. I fear picking Fournette and LSU loses a couple of games like last year. Cook is unlikely if you ask me. The only RB I can see winning the Heisman this year would be Fournette possibly.

Hey guys, New to Covers. Just recently discovered the site and all the great content. My first post here. I'm really not a college football guy. Have just begun getting into it recently. Question: I am heading to Vegas soon, and was thinking about placing a heft futures bet on who wins the Heisman this year. I've been doing a lot of research, reading every article, etc. that I can find on the matter. From what I can gather so far, it seems to be a 2 man race between Deshaun Watson from Clemson and Leonard Fournette of LSU. At first, I was thinking of going all in on Watson but I've been seeing that lots of writers think Fournette may get it this year. Watson seems to be the sexy pick, is a QB, dominated last year and is only set to get better this year. Clemson's offense is going to be insane this year apparently. My only potential concern with him is possibly injuries, Clemson's D possibly slipping in a game or so, and the FSU game on the road. If I was going to get one guy to win the Heisman though, it would be him. However, hearing that LSU is going to be really solid and they get Alabama at home this year. McCaffrey was a beast last year, but wit hthose numbers, he still didn't win, and with the loss of of his QB and several O line members, I don't think Stanford will be as good and don't think he will win it. I think the Heisman comes down to Watson ad Fournette, and with the exception of some crazy surprise, I think it's a real good shot that one of these 2 win it. I was thinking of going big on both of them winning it (hedging my bet that way). Or am I crazy? What do you guys think? Any thoughts? Any other serious Heisman contenders? I'm not really looking for value, more like looking to pick the winner and hit big. Any and all feedback from you pros is greatly appreciated.
