You can't see 2 of these 5 teams (or 6 when you include Wizards) pulling off a win?

Or.... risk it because its the last day of the season?

So if you do a 5 Team Round Robin with all the top Money Lines:
Bucks +930 Hawks +1183 Nets +1273 Lakers +774 Kings +1645 On a $20 Unit play (26 Combos, $520 Total Bet) here are the rough payouts: 2 Teams - $2500 3 Teams: $55,000 4 Teams: $400,000 5 Teams: $1,000,00 +++ (depending on book cap) They are obviously long shots... but for various reasons, any of these games are within the realm of "upset reasoning". Just because teams are playing for playoff spots, doesn't mean they automatically get them. Tonight should be fun!

If you do a five team round robin on the dogs, on $20 per play the payout is over $1,000,000

Had a thought/insight/question... Tomorrow night Brook Lopez (Brooklyn) is facing his twin brother Robin (Bulls) on the last game of the season. Brooklyn has nothing to gain, but Chicago is likely after the last playoff spot on the East.
Question... does Brook take it super easy and do Robin a solid by letting Chicago run over them? Or does he flip the script and play balls out in a sibling rivalry to f*ck him up? And for those of you who say "even if Brooklyn played balls out they wouldn't cover the +15", keep in mind they just beat the Bulls by 1 on Saturday and have won 4 of the last 6. They have no tank to protect, so nothing to lose there. Thoughts?

The bet was in the right spirit! Would do it again in a heartbeat... Philly played their behind off. Still gonna throw $100 on Memphis at 25-1. Anyone who said I was crazy can blow me. Good times fellas!

A lot of places aren't offering the Memphis ML. The risk is too high... 25-1 correlates to the 18pt spread on a team that odds shark.com ranks 59th in power rankings v 7th, and have won the vast majority of prior meetings. Those upsets happen all too often in CBB. NBA is turning into the Wild West of sorts so 76ers winning wouldn't too shocking. Again this should be a few bucks of discretionary income that you won't miss if you lose, but in the case you hit you can hang it over your fireplace.

Memphis v Gonzaga and yes it 2500-1. While "there's a reason it's so high" money lines aren't properly reconciled against historical data. I.e Philly beats Atlanta 1 out of 10 or so times in this situation and Memphis wins 1 out of 8. True odds should be 100-1 or abouts. When you have a significant delta between historical odds versus odds on boards, you always play the two teamers. It's the only way to beat vegas in the long haul.

For all you crazy kiddos out there... There's a 675-1 two teamer out there that could actually happen.
2 Team Parlay 76'ers +2500 Memphis +2500 $100 to win $67,500 Don't hold your breath, but on the flip side, This should be more like 50-1. GL. |

Appreciate the advice. I may just sit on Memphis and see what happens. If that happens, I could go 3k on Indy ML, then try to get some live lines or half if Knicks open strong. Nervewracking that I have to wait until Saturday for this.

Great quote from Lee:
"One of the hardest games in the NBA to play is your first game back at home after a road trip," forward David Lee said after scoring 26 points with nine rebounds. "I've been through too much losing to be disappointed in a win." These guys really get it now... very self aware and are fighting for every win. |
