If that was a white mob and a black victim we'd never hear the end of it, gotta love how reverse racism doesn't seem to exist. Race really shouldn't matter cuz idiots and assholes come in all colors, shapes and sizes.

I buy and sell cards all the time and other sports memorabilia, Ebay or amazon would be your best bet especially if you have any auto's or serial numbered cards, some ppl get on there and just those kinds of cards and they don't seem to care who it is, they just see auto or serial #'d and fire away. My suggestion would be to just bundle all the cards you wanna get rid of and sell them as a lot on ebay, put some of the auto's and serial #'d cards in the description but not all of them, let the buyer feel some mystery about it ya know, should fetch you a little higher profit.

After looking thru a bunch of stuff it seems as tho football cards hold value better, interesting, I wish it was simple again and ya'll are right about the redemption progress, it sux, I'm still waiting for a Babe Ruth Die cut card I redeemed like 4 months ago, whether it's football or baseball tho it's all gotten outrageous, I saw a box of football cards the other day that came with 1 pack that has 4 cards- 650$ But you get 3 for sure auto's in the pack, still not very good when you can just track down the auto's you want and probably get all 3 cheaper than 650.

And I bought a Carolina Panthers full size helmet for 100 bucks signed by the whole team from last year from a guy who buys storage units and just wanted to get rid of it cuz he said he didn't really have the time to get it checked out, turns out after I got it home I found a certificate of authenticity from PSA folded up and tucked under one of the pads inside, very lucky buys on both of those tho and stuff like that very rarely happens.
^ i feel the same way man.. i recently got back into collecting cause i wanted certain Autographs and "Game Worn" cards and i wanted something me and my 7yr old can do together but its so different from when i was younger, packs and boxes are 20x's more today plus there's multiple series and different color'd auto's that are better then regular auto's.. i look for #'d cards under 25 and mostly collect UFC cards now.. i grab some football and baseball but not as many.. its an expensive hobby though.. GL with your idea to open a shop.. and your right, things were so simpler n easier back in the day, Im 35 and im talking 20 years ago, roughly 1990-1994 i dont remember an autographs being in packs, it was just "Rookie" cards and "Lottery Picks" u looked for |
