no, you keep trying to change your story. Gruden trading his players away might be trading for the future. Doesnt mean he is tanking in any particular game, where you can use it in your handicapping. Just like last week supposed tank when raiders won straight up.
and just like right now right. I guess jets didn't get the memo they were suppossed to tank this game

And Carr made a couple of miraculous throws, and still the Steelers had a chance to tie and eventually win that game. Anyway, for those of you who will go to your graves thinking teams don't tank, here is inconvertible truth from the NBA: The 2013-2014 Brooklyn Nets, coached by Jason Kidd, intentionally lost the last two games of the season in order to play the Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs. I'm not going to get into why they wanted to do that (it was discussed to death by me and others in the NBA forum, and people made money fading the Nets in those last two games). So there you go, you never-tankers! lol, your rebuttal is that the double digit favourite steelers almost won besides a couple miraulous plays by the other team, the raiders, the team that was suppossed to tank? No when a team is tanking, they try to lose on purpose, hence the name. Don't come in here and say the favourite almost won but didn't because their fg kicker slipped as indication that the raiders were trying to tank. If you watched the game, you would have noticed that the raiders played extremely tough throughout the whole game. You brought up tanking in the NFL. all of a sudden because you can't provide any evidence you switch to NBA. yeah im sure there is tanking in the NBA. Different sport, different cicumstances. You could get generational talent with number one picks. In the NFL you can't usually unless there is a manning or a luck at the top. No one is tanking this year to get Bosa. Teams may play bad, but thats because they are bad and suck. Cardinals could get destroyed tomorrow. doesn't mean they tanked. Just means they have a lot of injuries and can't match up. |

but but, the raiders beat the steelers where they could have tanked and played hell of a game against kc.
and the jets beat the bills where they could have tanked, and the 49ers beat the broncos where they didn't have the same issues you brought up against the seahawks, and bengals played chargers tough, and cardinals beat packers two weeks ago in green bay. This tanking thing is so overrated. Athletes play hard, they want to keep playing for their jobs. You think they care about a high draft pick when they aren't in the league. You think coaches want to lose. You think somebody like shanahan wants wins in his record or a couple picks higher pick. You think bowles wants to save his job as long with his assistant coaches or they care if they get the number one pick. there is no gm telling these coaches to lose. Teams want to win

TENN @ NYG I don't see any way in hell the Giants deserve to be favored in this game. The Titans are the better team on paper, they have a solid defense, they've been pretty hot as have the Giants, but the Giants have taken advantage of terrible opponent situations in past couple weeks. This one confuses me. MIA @ MINN This line tells me that everyone is down on the Vikings and everyone is up on the Dolphins. It might be a crappy line, but if it jumps to 6.5 the only possible play is on the Vikings. Let down spot for the Dolphins and this is a spot where Cousins shines...when everyone expects him to do nothing, and the lights aren't on him GB @ CHI I can't be the only one that thinks Rodgers is gonna go on a tear here at the end of the year, just barely miss the playoffs and blame all his struggles on McCarthy right? Bears historically struggle against the Packers...and 5.5 might be a bit too high for my liking. WASH @ JAX This game is going to be junk and there is no way in hell I would ever put money on it. The end. PHI @ LAR Damn...I thought the linesmakers would be a lot more down on the Rams after the tough loss against the Bears. Eagles are fighting for their lives right now...I can see this one being closer than some might think.
your line suggests your high on the dolphins not the other way around. the line is -7 so bookmakers high on vikings. did you watch bears shut down rams. you think how rodgers played in the past is going to have a bearing on this bears defense when his oline is in shambles. bears might not cover, but don't think rodgers going to win this game on his own. bears are legit

washington backup put up all the points. kessler is a sieve himself. Jaguars giving 7 to beat anybody is a stretch. take the td with the redskins.

raiders +3 is certainly a great value pick. bengels still have alot of injuries. Your getting 3. like the raiders who have shown they can put alot of points on the board.
Cowboys +3. you say they can certainly pull one out of their hats. well they did shut down the saints, so its no stretch by any means. you say the seahawks should have lost to the vikings? what game were you watching. if it wasn't for a couple of unforced errors, the seahawks would have blown them out. Seahawks dominated that game. never felt like minnesota were going to win that game

bettors wanting to bet the over is not a handicap why it will come under. What about the teams leads you to believe it will be under???

yeah there are always odds every year that seem off. Go look at win totals. some teams may have same odds to win division, but have different win totals.
