Selection #4
507 Houston Rockets +9.5 -110 (1u) Even more late syndicate action here, so will be taking a bite. Not enough time for write up here, but will be making this official too.

I'm enjoying all the interaction guys so keep it coming! I also agree with your points. Tough to pick a side here in my opinion. Cavaliers are also 0-2 ATS since firing David Blatt, and now are laying 18? Someone knows something even us lines makers do not. Interesting.

Selection #2
520 East Carolina +6 -110 (1u) Syndicate groups hitting this really late, and I was waiting for it to happen. Locked in at 6, would recommend to 5.5, not able to type much as it's tipping off in 2 minutes... I hope some can lock this in. I'm sharing the information as I get it, and this was hit by confirmed respectable group and fits a number of solid criteria.

Sharp Action Report (Addition):
502 Cleveland Cavaliers -16 *Syndicates were hitting this one softly earlier in the day, and seemed like a possible set up so was not initially reported, however this has been confirmed as a huge move on them. The public believe this line is far too high, as we can see by the rare 50/50 split (this happens rarely when Cavs are playing a sub .500 non-play off team, especially at home)... However, this line has ballooned from an opening of 15.5 to now 18! The numbers definitely do not have the Cavs winning by this much, and oddsmakers actually inflated the line at 15.5 a little. This goes beyond the numbers and wise guys know something here. Whether or not if covers is yet to be seen, but looks like we are going to see one hell of a beating, and one that is fully expected by syndicate groups alike.

002 Tampa Bay Lightning u5.5 -115
*Confirmed and very well respected syndicate action on the under here. This is now juiced at -130, where there may actually still be some value. Some books are starting to move this line down to 5, so that could be a theme across books soon. To give you a clear idea of how respected this particular opinion is, and how willing the books are to make a position themselves, we are seeing 85% of the public on the over, and even 95% of the overall money on the over.. Books are very exposed if this one goes over, yet the line has moved entirely the different way, and may even move OFF this number at all books. -130 is still a little on the heavy side, and there will not be much value if this moves to 5. If anything, this should absolutely pull you off a wager on the over if you are considering it. Of course, anything can happen, this is gambling, but it's all about long-term +EV investments. Betting the over here.. is not. 007 Colorado Avalanche +200 *Syndicate action here on the +200 money-line. Since line has dropped to +180. Not much else to say. Most value has gone now, and this line will probably rise some closer to start due to the public and parlay action involving the Kings.

Sharp Action Report:
I am not including Massachusetts in to this report as I have listed this above. 571 Austin Peay o137.5 *Syndicates have been taking shots at this for most of the day pushing this up to 139.5. Books are left exposed as public are also in agreement. There is 80% of the overall tickets on the over, and 94% of the overall $$ wagered. Vegas rooting for the under, that's for sure. 529 Pittsburgh +3 *Confirmed syndicate action on Pittsburgh here. Well respected money, hit once and brought the line down to 1.5 where it has now settled. Value has likely gone here, as it's below the key number. 40% of the public is on the dog, but we are seeing 75% of the overall $$. Might be worth keeping a look out here as a second wave may want to hit this and may dummy the line up to +2 or even +2.5 again.. If you see this, I might recommend taking a stab. 537 Auburn +8 *Not many bets overall on this one, so books were forced to adjust to most of the money that came in. Public and overall $$ wagered were settling on Mississippi and once this hit 8, sharps took the value and forced this back to 7 and even 6.5 at some books. Some particular books even took this as high as +9 for a few seconds... Which turned out to be an awful move. Syndicates got the value here and the best of the number. Probably not worth anything now. Public and overall $$ still strong on Mississippi so this may rise closer to tip-off and be worth a stab then. 555 Loyola Chicago +20 *Another confirmed position by syndicates on Loyola Chicago +20. This line has since dropped to +19 and +18.5 at some of the sharper books. We are seeing 75% of the public on Wichita State, but 55% of the overall $$ wagered taking a position on Loyola. I still see some value in this line if you are interested in taking the road dogs here. Could see this dropping an extra half point still.

Selection #1
521 Massachusetts +13.5 -110 (1u) Sharp action on Massachusetts +14 bringing this line down to 13.5.. I expect this to drop more. We currently have only 35% of the public on Massachusetts, however we are seeing 80% over the overall $$. Confirmed and respected move and we will try ahead of the anticipated line move. Locking this in now. Sharp report coming soon.

Sharp Action Report:
Obviously the official released plays I have given above are sharp action and will not be reposted here, so if you missed them please go back and review them. 503 Denver Nuggets o210 *Absolute syndicate attack here. The public do agree with 65% on the over, but we are seeing a huge 97% of the overall $$ wagered coming in on the over also. Books are extremely exposed here and continue to rise the line, and the money continues to come. I do believe any further movement will be a result of public money however, trying to chase the steam. Another point or so and there will be value on the under. I would not recommend playing this at the current number of 214. You never want to be the latest to the party. Losing proposition. At least if you were considering a play on the under, this can be enough to keep you off... for now. I will update if anything changes here. 507 Houston Rockets o206.5 *Syndicates groups alike have been taking small bites out of this. I don't believe it's a head fake or set up by any means.. Just a less confident pick. The money isn't too respected but still warrants a report here. If you like the over, there is still some potential value in my opinion. Public and sharps on the same side so far pushing this total up to 208.. It may go higher. Books forced to adjust due to exposure. 510 Atlanta Hawks u209 *Another position where sharps have hit this pretty hard. The public percentage is split 50/50 but we are seeing almost 80% of the overall $$ wagered on the under. This is confirmed by some buddies of mine as a true syndicate move, no head fake involved what so ever. Line may still rise due to money positions etc, but the only sharp side here, is clearly the under. 512 Minnesota Timberwolves +9 *Syndicate groups took the T'Wolves at +9, bringing this line down to 8.. This then allowed sharp groups interested in OKC to try and nudge the line down as it was within range.. Possible set up action on OKC -7 now.. I expect this line to rise, and expect sharp groups alike to be in disagreement and the final number will be an indication of overall money. There will probably be more back and forth action on this one, depending on number. Basically, there is no 'wrong-side' here depending on what number you can get. 515 Dallas Mavericks o214.5 *Sharps pushing the over here... This is now up 216. Not too much sharp or respected action but books are forced to adjust due to exposure... I am expecting to see some comeback on the under at some point depending where this number goes.

The fact the action is small scares me, as it may be them helping dummy the line up forcing books to adjust for exposure, with a plan to come back on The Clippers. I do expect some comeback at a certain number... Will be interesting to see what happens here.

I'm getting a kick out of this, plus I love sharing information and helping others wise up. As far as what I look for when choosing my personal plays is a few things. I don't want to lock in the worst of the line when I can as value can easily have been sucked out. I still make lines myself as I used to as an assistant oddsmaker and use those to confirm what the money is doing and if I personally agree. I also like to confirm the strength of the money coming in behind the moves with my buddies on the line to ensure we aren't being set up either, with potential comeback. It's better to lay off where sharp money is sometimes and not just necessarily back it, as getting the worst of the number more times than not will result in a coin flip. I appreciate the advice too... I don't have any issues with bad mouthing etc. Choose to follow my advice, believe me or not.. I couldn't care less and will never reply or entertain those types of comments.

Selection #3
501 Phoenix Suns o209 -110 (1u) Confirmed syndicate action coming in on the over here. This opened at 209, and was bet up to as high as 211... The line has since dropped back down which I fully expect to be a set up from what I am hearing from my buddies still working the lines... Trying to get the best of the number here and lock this in before the 2nd wave hits. Lock it in. The public don't understand why this line is set so high, seeing 68% of the action on the under, yet the overall $$ wagered is clearly with the sharps with 85% on the over.

I will hit all your questions back later this afternoon. Busy for a few hours but I will get to them all... Anyway, we have another selection:
Selection #2 514 Utah Jazz -6 -110 (1u) Some confirmed sharp syndicate action coming in on the Utah Jazz. The first wave came at -5, followed by an immediate second wave at 5.5. This line is now at 6, and pushing 6.5 at most books. I expect this to reach and hold at the key number of 7 so we will lock in the better number and agree with the sharps. Currently the public are a little harder on the Hornets who are receiving 58% of the overall public action but the overall $$ wagered is on 85% on the Utah Jazz. Lock it in.

Before I release a sharp report later, we have our first official selection today:
504 Boston Celtics -9 -110 (1u) Syndicate groups hit this at -8 immediately when the line was released last night which pushed it to 8.5 and 9 at some shops. We are now starting to see more sharp money hitting the window as this line will be at 9.5 and potentially 10 before tip-off as more money comes in throughout the day. The public are fairly split so far but we are seeing 65% of the overall money wagered coming in on the Celtics. Lock this in now in an attempt to beat the closing line while following some well respected Syndicate Action.
