This Charleston team has one of the best bigs in the nation that no one has really heard of.. Brzovic has his eyes on coastal athletic association player of year.. fresh off a 39 and 13 against FAU .. double OT win.. luckily that was on Friday.. got a Saturday to rest while liberty took that same FAU team to OT in a losing effort today.. hoping to get a little more fatigue.. and Charleston welcomed back Derrin boyd last game.. he poured in 18 in limited minutes off the bench.. the lipscomb guard will be one of the best guards in the Coastal.. this cougars team is loaded and deep .. liberty lacks a true superstar in previous years and honestly I think their best guard is now running the show at belmont (peebles) .. I don't see Darius mcghee or scottie james coming out of the locker room..
Give me COFC in a true home game to win and cover the -2.5
Ncaab record: 3-1 |

This is more of a fade of stonehill, than being high on this new Orleans team. Stonehill comes off getting hammered by a bad Robert Morris team with no returning production trying to gel early in the year with all transfers.. Meanwhile the Privateers have a quick turnaround coming off their first. The privateers will have the best player on the court Ole miss transfer James white. In a small sample size JR Jacobs has 22 assists in 3 games and has become the clear facilitator in the offense. Give me new Orleans to win and cover the -1.5 Ncaab record: 3-0 |

Closer than I would have liked.. typical sloppy small school game.. blew 7 point lead last minute 20 to force OT .. hit two threes right out of the gate in OT and kept them at arms reach the rest of the way ..
Howard 88-84 is a winner Ncaab record: 3-0 |

Howard has been the class of the Meac fending off Norfolk state for the last couple years.. this year they are once again the team to beat.. I like the continuity early in the year.. Bryce harris is preseason player of the year for the Meac and he's joined by fellow bison Dockery on the first team.. they added a couple nice pieces in the transfer portal. Anwar Gill brings a ton of minutes over in his 4 years at Lasalle. Johnson a full time starter at Dartmouth and the size comes from the explosive notre dame transfer Dom Campbell.. meanwhile tennessee state has essentially pieced together a lower mid major team with really no returning production.. The URI transfer Brandon weston looks to be the only real scoring threat. And might take a while for this Tigers team to gel.. Give me Howard to win and cover the -3.5 Ncaab record: 2-0 |

Give me the team that has 2 games under their belt to one.. give me the team that's played up in competition (Arkansas, Duquense) vs a team that's played something called Erskine.. Lipscomb's home opener for one and I look for two preseason all conference players in Pruitt and Ognacevic the guard and big combo to control inside and out for the team picked to finish tops in the ASUN this year.. the team lost Boyd their leading scorer to the transfer portal but added several starters themselves in the portal.. and this isn't the wofford team of old.. just make it hard on leading scorer Tripp all night and the the lack of scoring downlow will probably do them in.. Ncaab record 1-0 |

Cofc took it too them for about 30 minutes of a 40 minute game without their all conference guard Boyd.. toyed with them most of the game and then pulled away for a comfortable double digit victory ... Brzovic dominated the paint 27 point 9 rebounds.
Cofc 90-80 gets us a win and cover Ncaab record: 1-0 |

@AceGambler332 Southern Illinois is taking in 48 % of the bets ... opened at -1 which i have .. moneyline -128 and -2.5... up to 3.5 now.. if we were talking like 80 percent of bets on COFC then yea I'd normally agree.. Siu returns almost no production ... and the quality of transfers i am very familiar with that saluki team .. I just think it's a case where mack recruited these guys for his system... and he has a much more talented roster.. COFC expected to win the conference again and salukis expected to finish near the bottom again.. Anything can happen we shall see. |

Neutral site game why I'll hop on.. Kelsey is off to Louisville .. Charleston gets former Louisville head coach Chris mack .. Ante Brzovic is back as an all conference forward.. mack poached a 6-11 big from his old school xavier who should find a nice spot in the CAA.. then a lot of the scoring will belong to AJ smith (17 ppg citadel) Derrin Boyd (18 ppg Lipscomb) and Deywilk Tavares (17 ppg Delaware st) .. also get a 6-7 combo forward from Green bay who will get key minutes and assist leader Cj Fulton is back.. a lot of moving pieces with the transfers to gel.. but gone is Xavier Johnson, the Salukis leading scorer and number 2 scorer in the nation (24 ppg) they also have a couple key transfers but Boyd is the prize of the bunch.. and I trust the rim protection of Brzovic to control this game.. SIU gets wright states head coach who will try and turn around a Saluki team going In the wrong direction. Give me Charleston to win and cover -2.5 |
