As a fellow Forum follower, and someone who has used several cappers.. let me correct anyone that thinks forums are as good as any "pro." Professional Cappers work 50 hours a week doing one thing, researching, watching, etc.. and it shows when you use a good pick service. Their write ups and picks look nothing like a casual bettor or even serious "forum" guru. Any honest capper will tell you his goal is to pick between 53%-60% every year. And some of the best in the business have only hit above 60% maybe once. Most people don't realize that hitting 55% winners, means you made a lot of money.
My advice is usually this, if you want to actually win money at the end of the season (something I know personally is incredibly difficult), then pay someone who does this for a living. It will save you tons of time, headache, and reading through pages of forums and "free picks." If you only win 300 bucks, consider all the time and stress you saved, that's worth a million. Two guys I have used and liked a lot: Wunderdog, (be ready to bet a lot of dogs) www.NFLPicksGuy.com (honest and legit, only does NFL )

Which handicapper adds the most value to your bankroll and style of action?
in Website Promotions
Hey Stevy,
I have used several cappers in the past. Wunderdog probably being the most well known, and he's good (losing season last year), but you have to bet a TON of games that make you cringe, he loves the ugly dogs on the road who've lost 25 in a row haha. I usually use about 3 cappers per year just to get good info, but somehow end up following just one. The last 2 years I used www.NFLPicksGuy.com - His write ups are good, level headed, and a mixture of everything. I probably bet 80% of his picks the last two years and hit above 56%. If you know your stuff you know that's a lot of money. He only does NFL football, so he obviously knows the sport, and just produces a lot of winners. Hope that helps

Who are the best pick services out there?
I used the last 2 years, and he went 55%, and 60%. Does anyone know anyone good, with records like that? I like to subscribe to 2 or 3 services, I don't have time to do the research but I like to pick from professionals analysis. It's like mini research haha. |

Good Free pick I received yesterday from a pro.
From www.NFLPicksGuy.com (I got permission from the author to share this) Hello Fellow bettors. This is my first write up of the season and I couldn’t be more excited! I don’t place very many bets on the NFL preseason. It’s very different from regular season obviously. Last years performance and rankings aren’t good indicators of how teams will typically perform. But that doesn’t mean we can’t find some value! Here we go!: Cleveland @ Detroit: The Pick: OVER 36 With preseason head coaches and OC’s are the best factor to evaluate. It is usually the coaches philosophy that drives how hard a team pushes and for how long. In 12 pre season games as coach of the Lions, Schwartz has a 10-2 record, averaging 23.4 ppg, and almost 29 ppg over the last 7 games, which went 5-2 OVER. Schwartz’ lions have only been held under 17 pts just three times of the 12 outings. Pat Shurmur only has 4 preseason games as head coach of the Browns but in his first two games last preseason he scored 27pts and 28pts, averaging 21ppg total. The Browns were 3-1 OVER last preseason. The Lions are eager to make all those points they racked up last year mean something this year and I think the first team offense will come out with a little fire. This will be Brandon Weeden’s first opportunity to show his stuff and he is well known as a risk taker. Also, Richardson is out with knee injury but his backup Montario Hardesty is reported to have claimed that he is as good as Richardson and will take this opportunity and “run with it.” This one should have a lot of offense. Play the OVER. |
