Parlayed Man City/Madrid 1H on the moneyline. Did not expect City to come out so sloth-like.
At least the Spurs look to be coming on strong for me.

Yeah... I'm done betting friendlies.
Bayern was legitimately sleep walking against an inferior opponent in that half.

Bayern Munich 1H
Bayern was actually in very good form vs Arsenal, and dominated the vast majority of the match. They were on the attack virtually the entire time, dominating in shots on goal. A few amazing saves from Cech, coupled with a couple of VERY questionable off-sides calls prevented multiple other goals. Then, of course... the fluke goal in the final minute of stoppage time by Arsenal to tie it up. AC Milan, on the other hand, looked quite poor in their contest with Dortmund. Falling behind 2-0 in the first 20 minutes. I expect Bayern to come out with a sense of urgency, and convert early on. In friendlies, if you bet full-time, you risk managers fooling around with substitutes late. I feel much more comfortable going ahead here and betting 1H. Plus, the odds at -110 are much better. |

Now in their half, they have a runner picked off of second.
Are the Detroit Tigers a baseball team, or a circus? lol

I'm just going to pretend that I never had the money in my account that I lost on this game.
Pretty amazing.

That match had a strange feel to it the entire time. Felt like Bayern should have been running away with it.
You just knew something was about to happen at the end. Holy hell... that was gut wrenching. You just knew it was coming, right when the counter got underway. For god's sake... all you had to do was milk the clock for another 30 seconds. How does that happen? lol Oh well... back to baseball.

I'm on Bayern money line, and am very tempted to throw some on the over as well. This made me more tempted...

Yesterday I received a notification about a $15 dollar horse racing free bet with GT Bets. I only used GT Bets once or twice over the years, but I still have an active account and get emails about their promotions.
I do not know one thing about horse racing, but I took the promotion because "why the hell not?". While accepting the free bet on the site, and placing a bet on a random horse. I noticed I had over 25,000 loyalty points from previous bets. I looked into what I could cash that for, and found that it was worth 25 dollars. Again.... why not? I lost the horse racing free bet, as expected. However, I've run the 25 dollars from my loyalty point exchange, up to just under 100 bucks by betting on MLB. I have never cashed out with GT Bets, and I went to checkout their options. Just in case I do get this up to a number that I'd like to withdraw. While looking, I noticed it said that a withdrawal was not available. Why? It stated that I had not met the rollover requirement for the HORSE RACING FREE BET. Which I never saw a cent of. I do not see anything about their being a rollover required for loyalty point exchanges. It still lists the horse racing bonus as the only reason I need to rollover. Two questions... 1) Do I need to rollover on a free bet that I lost, even though that money NEVER touched my account? 2) If this is the case. Doesn't that mean that hypothetically... if I would have deposited my own money into GT Bets, and accepted no deposit bonus. That I STILL would have had to roll over on it, because of the free bet I lost? Which again... never touched my account, and had nothing to do with the money in my account? If anybody can help, or share an experience like this with GT Bets I would appreciate it. If not, I'll be contacting them directly. They seem to be reviewed pretty solidly online.

Minnesota Twins (Santana) vs Los Angeles Angels (Bridwell) The Twins face an arm in Parker Bridwell that has been absolutely ATROCIOUS so far. While he has just pitched 24 innings and that's far too short to judge anything off of, his minor league numbers didn't suggest anything different would happen. He held a 4.53 xFIP in AA last year and struck out 6 while walking 4. He's been lit up in every start so far and I doubt the tide changes here. I mean, the guy has found a way to give up 7 home runs in 20 innings. That in itself is a feat and not one that any good pitchers achieve. I have no idea why he is now getting an MLB opportunity, but he is and I'd like to take advantage. The top of the Twins order has been rather deadly against RHP. Led by Sano, who has been amazing this season, holding a 50% hard contact rate and .275 ISO. Against righties, he has a .384 wOBA and has already smashed 16 homers. Then Brian Dozier, who hit righties to the tune of a .362 wOBA. Along with two left handed bats in Kepler and Mauer who also hold wOBA's over .360 vs RHP. On the mound, you have Ervin Santana, whose peripherals suggest that he likely will suffer a little bit of regression over the long haul. However, against a Trout-less Angels lineup that struggles against RHP, I am rather confident that his 1.058 WHIP and 3.07 ERA will remain intact for another outing. I'm not crazy about betting lines like this, but Bridwell is so bad. I honestly don't think it's lopsided enough. Minnesota Twins (Santana) -155 Hope everyone had a good 4th of July! GL |

A couple of HOURS? Are you high? Tornados hit all around the Chicago suburbs. Plainfield, Lockport... etc... are just outside of Chicago and get hit every year. Go get on I-57 and go south from the city limits about 30 minutes. Take a look around. It's literally farm land. Kankakee... Bourbonais... I hid in my basement more times than I can count from tornado warnings as a kid. But you're going to tell me about Chicago... |

Oak Lawn is right on the border of the city limits. Tornados hit around there all of the time. I grew up there... you don't know what you're talking about. #3 - Chicago is a lot more than the city... the city limits span very far and wide. So, go laugh your behind off in the mirror. |
