All I'm hearing is bla bla bla... how great the sec is. what happened to the great Alabama ,can you say Oklahoma . and how many points did Duke put on the Aggies and how many points did the Dukies put on the Noles? And what did the tigers just do to Ohio state which a week ago would be playing for the National title if it wasn't for Michigan State. oh yea a team that the Noles destroyed at Death valley. Georgia was beaten by Nebraska , Scarolina , Lsu , Missouri was all in fights.Ye Florida State may have gotten here on a weaker schedule, but Auburn has gotten here on luck , a tip pass , and a kick. no more miracles it ends. FSU National champs .....

If the Bulldogs can hang around in this game -- they've lost the past four games at Boise State (9-0, 5-0 WAC) by an average of 34.5 points -- it will come down to the play and the coaching in the fourth quarter. "It's a great challenge," Bulldogs coach Pat Hill said. "Isn't that what we're all in this for? To play great teams? I think so. "We're going to be ... ready to play emotionally, ready to play physically," he continued. "It's going to come down to execution, bottom line. Preparation. ... When the play has to be made, we have to make it." Despite the ups and downs, Fresno State quarterback Ryan Colburn enters this game brimming with confidence. "If it's a close game at the end of the fourth quarter, there's not going to be a bone in my body that says were going to lose," he said. |

Dogs Lose Heartbreaker To Neveda, 35-34Nov. 13, 2010
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - In one of the most entertaining games in recent memory at Bulldog Stadium, No. 21 Nevada earned a come from behind 35-34 win over Fresno State on Saturday night. Fresno State's defense played well for the majority of the game, holding the nation's No.2 offensive unit to 140 yards under its season average and nine points under its scoring average, but the Dogs came up 1 point short on the scoreboard. Fresno State jumped to an early 14-7 lead in the first quarter on a pair of Robbie Rouse touchdowns. Rouse, who finished with three scores on the night rushed for 217 yards, the 12th-best game in school history. It was the second straight game of more than 200 rushing yards, becoming the first Bulldog to ever accomplish that feat. Rouse scored on runs of 2 and 44 yards and had a 12-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Ryan Colburn. Nevada scored a late second quarter touchdown to take a 21-17 lead at halftime. Frsno State opened the scoring in the second half on an Isaiah Burse touchdown catch from Colbrun and extended the lead to 34-28 on a Kevin Goessling 34-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter. Vai Taua's 24-yard scamper up the middle with 4:51 remaining gave the Wolf Pack (9-1, 4-1 WAC) its first lead since midway through the third quarter. Robbie Rouse rushed for 217 yards and scored three touchdowns for Fresno State (6-3, 4-2) in a game with six lead changes. The Bulldogs drove to midfield before turning the ball over on downs with 1:26 left. Fresno State scored 10 straight points to go ahead 34-28. The touchdown came on a spectacular 44-yard touchdown run by Rouse. The Bulldogs got excellent field position on their opening drive of the second half when Nevada punter Brad Langley booted the ball off the back of a teammate's helmet. Fresno State took over at midfield and found the end zone four plays later when the left-handed Colburn scrambled to his right and found Isaiah Burse down the middle for a 26-yard touchdown. Kaepernick answered with a 19-yard touchdown run, faking the handoff before taking off up the middle, as the Wolf Pack regained a 28-24 lead with 9:28 left in the third quarter. Trailing 34-28 following Fresno State's 10-point surge, Nevada marched downfield for the potential go-ahead touchdown. But on 4th-and-1 from the Bulldogs 8, Kyle Knox and Desia Dunn smothered Taua for no gain. Fresno State failed to move the ball, and the Wolf Pack took over on its 46 to set up Taua's go-ahead score. Rouse was coming off a career-high 286-yard effort in Fresno State's 40-34 victory over Louisiana Tech. Nevada scored two touchdowns in a 27-second span late in the second quarter to take a 21-17 halftime lead. The Wolf Pack trailed by 10 before two TDs by Taua swung the momentum. One was set up by Colburn fumbling. Kaepernick shook off a sluggish start by leading Nevada on a 10-play, 73-yard drive, capped by a 4-yard Taua touchdown run with 1:01 left before halftime. The senior converted two third downs on pass completions during the march to trim Fresno State's lead to 17-14. On the ensuing possession, Colburn dropped back and the ball slipped from his hand without being touched. Ryan Coulson made the recovery for Nevada on the Bulldogs 20. Following a 19-yard pass to Brandon Wimberly, the Wolf Pack was in the end zone again when Taua plunged in from 1 yard with 34 seconds left. Nevada even got the ball back on a squib kick but could not move the football in the final 27 seconds. Fresno State led 17-7 with 4:18 remaining in the second quarter on a 42-yard field goal by Kevin Goessling. Rouse scored the Bulldogs' first two touchdowns on a 12-yard catch and a 2-yard run on Fresno State's opening drive. Kaepernick passed for 114 yards and ran for 95 in the first half. His only mistake was an interception by safety Lorne Bell for a touchback that went right through the hands receiver Malcolm Shepherd. After Fresno State scored on its opening drive, Kaepernick pulled the Wolf Pack even by faking the handoff and running around the right end 47 yards for a touchdown. Quotes and Notes:
Fresno State Head Coach Pat Hill "I can't say enough about Robbie Rouse. He's really coming into his own and becoming the back we thought he could be. He played great. Our offensive line did great. We had three new guys in there. We started the season with four seniors and one junior on the offensive line and tonight we started three underclassmen who were not figuring in our two deep this season. They played very well under the circumstances." "We still have a lot to play for. We have prideful seniors and three very tough games before a bowl game. I know they will battle back and play Bulldog football." |

Breakdown: Bulldogs
Fresno State’s biggest challenge this week may be shelving the memory of last week’s narrow loss to Nevada. Head coach Pat Hill admitted is players were better prepared to take on the Wolf Pack than they had been all season, but an even larger task awaits the ‘Dogs in Boise. Running back Robbie Rouse has impressed the past month, racking up 769 the last four games, including back-to-back 200-yard performances. Likewise, quarterback Ryan Colburn has looked fairly sharp the last two weeks, completing more than 60 percent of his passes with five touchdowns to just one interception. Sack masters Chris Carter and Logan Harrell have a big test this week: getting to Kellen Moore. The Boise State quarterback has been sacked just five times this season, fifth-best in the country. Fresno State has never won on Boise State’s blue turf, but is the
last Western Athletic Conference team to beat the Broncos, a 27-7 win in
2005. Breakdown: BroncosBoise State has not lost to a Western Athletic Conference team at home since it became an official member in 2001. The Broncos have dominated on their homefield this season by outscoring their opponents 185-65 through four games. The fewest points Boise State has scored at home in 2010 is the 37 points that the Broncos put up against Oregon State. The Broncos are led by top Heisman candidate Kellen Moore, who has completed an impressive 71.9 percent of his passes for 2,588 yards and 24 touchdowns. Moore has gone 35-1 as the starting quarterback for the Broncos since taking over as the signal caller as a redshirt freshman in 2008. But Moore isn’t the only standout player for the Broncos. The defense is considered by many as the best unit in the nation, giving up just 240 yards an outing while allowing a WAC-best 12.8 points per game. As much publicity as Moore generates, its the Broncos defense that solidifies Boise State as elite. Keys to Victory1. Mistake-free football One major mistake could easily be one too many against the well-coached Broncos. Turnovers and penalties in a hostile environment would doom the ‘Dogs quickly. 2. Rattle Kellen Moore The Heisman Trophy candidate has only been sacked five times all season. Chris Carter and Logan Harrell will be X-factors in getting heat on Moore early and often. 3. Avoid a Nevada hangover If Fresno State has a chance at the upset, last week needs to be a distant memory. The ‘Dogs played very well for most of the Nevada game, and will need a similar performance. yep , I can see calling timeout and trying to hit a three plus a foul but driving for a lay up with 1 second left bull puppy , if you are going to rig a game do a better job covering it up.......

Because no matter how bad the cowboys are , they are going to sell out their games , if jerry would start to see empty seats then he might do that hire bill cowher, until then dont look for it. why send the money when you are selling out your games.

The problem is the dallas defense has not played a balanced offense all year the closet they have came is the tennessee titans and we saw what happen to them.. where the Giants are very balanced... pass and rushing , if dallas plays the run eli is going to torch them , if they play the pass the giants are going to run over them........

Well if any good news can be found , dallas should get a pretty high draft pick , look at a quarterback since Romo been quarterback he has never had nobody press him for his job.... yes Dallas season is shot but they have something to look forward to next year.......

Facts : Romo will make atleast a couple of bonehead mistakes , plus his big game record sucks , dallas cant rush the ball they been out rushed 4 out of there last 5 games , the giants have a balanced offense that will keep the dallas d in check , and I dont care if it a must win game or not , if they was good it would not have came to this point , they have found a way to lose in the past , they will find away to lose in the future .the Giants would love to be the ones to put a dagger into dallas season knowing dallas would have to suffer the next 11 weeks with no chance of the playoffs.. Giants in a pre halloween blood bath
